摘要： In order to easily and accurately manufacture a micromachine comprising a member which is made of a single-crystalline material and having a complicated structure, an uppermost layer (1104) of a single-crystalline Si substrate (1102) whose (100) plane is upwardly directed is irradiated with Ne atom currents from a plurality of prescribed directions, so that the crystal orientation of the uppermost layer (1104) is converted to such orientation that the (111) plane is upwardly directed. A masking member (106) is employed as a shielding member to anisotropically etch the substrate (1102) from its bottom surface, thereby forming a V-shaped groove (1112). At this time, the uppermost layer (1104) serves as an etching stopper. Thus, it is possible to easily manufacture a micromachine having a single-crystalline diaphragm having a uniform thickness. A micromachine having a complicated member such as a diagram which is made of a single-crystalline material can be easily manufactured through no junction.

Simply connecting the plurality of terminals of the recording medium cassette to the connector of the recording/reproducing apparatus allows display of the recording information about the recording medium cassette, thus providing recorded contents of the recording medium cassette quickly and easily as well as facilitating retrieval and management of the recorded contents.

摘要： A tape cassette comprises a case body having a mouth formed in the front portion thereof, a front lid pivotally supported thereon so as to cover the open front side of the case body, and a back lid pivotally joined to the front lid so as to cover a space extending behind the substantially lower half of an exposed portion of a magnetic tape in the mouth. The front lid includes a front wall covering the front opening of the mouth, side walls extending backward from the opposite side edges of the front wall, an upper wall covering the upper opening of the mouth, and a back wall extending downward from the upper wall. The side wall is provided with two guide grooves with two round projections projecting from the inner surface of the side wall being respectively received therein. Each of the two guide grooves has the shape of an arc of a circle having its center at the center of an imaginary circle at one end of the other guide groove. When the front lid is turned toward its opening position, one of the round projections moves first along the corresponding guide groove at the initial stage of turning of the front lid, and then the other round projection moves along the corresponding guide groove at the final stage of turning of the front lid.
