    摘要: A method of making an information recording medium of the invention is that first a scenario template is generated based on an input scenario information and assignments of titles, chapters, programs, and cells are determined. Based on this assignments, a disk information file and video file management information are generated on a hard disk and a recording area of a video file data is allocated. At this time, in the disk information file and the video file management information, management information as to menu information corresponding to the scenario template and recording area of cells to be recorded in the video file data. Therefore, the efficiency of making a multimedia optical disc, such as a DVD, which records still picture data, moving picture data, or audio data such as voice, as a content, can be increased.

    摘要: An electron storage ring has bending magnets, quadrupole magnets, and sextupole magnets arranged in a ring for constraining a beam of electrons along a path. When the beam is injected, a control means controls a power source for the magnet so that the beam has a high equilibrium emittance. This gives the beam a large dynamic aperture, simplifying beam injection. Once the beam has been injected, the field strengths of the magnets are varied to cause a reduction in the emittance to a low value, at which the beam is stored. Synchrotron radiation is generated which has a high brightness because the low emittance means the beam has a small diameter. During the reduction in equilibrium emittance, the betatron oscillation frequency is maintained on a stable operation region and the chromaticity is maintained substantially zero.

Since a naphthalene structure, which imparts the satisfactory ability to wet the hexagonal boron nitride included in the inorganic filler, has been introduced into the epoxy resin and/or the hardener to heighten the inorganic-filler loading characteristics, this resin composition attains excellent heat dissipation properties, heat resistance, insulating properties, etc.

    摘要: In an apparatus for measuring an oxygen saturation in blood, a plurality of light emitters irradiate a living tissue with a plurality of light beams having different wavelengths. A light receiver receives the light beams reflected from or transmitted through the living tissue to generate pulse wave signals in accordance with pulsations of the blood in the living tissue. A separator separates each of the pulse wave signals into a plurality of amplitude signals each of which is associated with one frequency, thereby generating pairs of amplitude signals each of which is associated with one of a plurality of frequencies. A first processor calculates a ratio between the amplitude signals in each of the pairs of the amplitude signals. A selector selects one of the pairs of the amplitude signals. A second processor calculates the oxygen saturation from the ratio of the selected pair of the amplitude signals.
