摘要: An apparatus for inspecting a pharmaceutical cylindrical container made of glass or polymer is provided. The apparatus includes an inspection area, a handling device, and a friction wheel. The handling device has a first holder configured to hold a lateral surface of the pharmaceutical cylindrical container. The first holder includes a first support wheel and a second support wheel. The handling device moves such that the pharmaceutical cylindrical container is transferred from a first transfer position to the inspection area and from the inspection area to a second transfer position. The first holder and/or the friction wheel bring the pharmaceutical cylindrical container into contact with the friction wheel such that the pharmaceutical cylindrical container is rotated around a container longitudinal axis by rotating the first and second support wheels and/or by rotating the friction wheel.

摘要: A particle separation device comprises, inside a plate-like base body, a straight main flow path including a flow inlet and a plurality of branch flow paths. The flow inlet includes a sample flow inlet and a pressing flow inlet. The sample flow inlet is connected to the main flow path via a first bending part, a first straight part, a second bending part, and a second straight part. Widths in the first bending part and the first straight part are larger than widths in the second bending part and the second straight part. The widths in the second bending part and the second straight part are larger than a width in the main flow path. The pressing flow inlet is connected to the side surface of the main flow path via a third straight part, a third bending part, a fourth straight part, and a fifth straight part.

摘要: In some aspects, automated rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing systems for performing a multi-assay testing sequence can include an automated incubation assembly having a nest assembly adapted to house at least one test panel having a plurality of wells for receiving a sample comprising microorganisms originating from a clinical sample, the incubation assembly facilitating incubation of one or more test panels in order to undergo the multi-assay testing sequence; a robotic handling assembly configured to accept one or more incoming test panels and move them to and from the incubation assembly for incubation between each assay of the multi-assay testing sequence; an automated liquid handling assembly configured to exchange one or more fluids in the plurality of wells of the test panels; and an optical assembly for interrogation and readout of each assay of the multi-assay testing sequence being performed in the plurality of wells.

摘要: A measurement system using heat compensation profiles for compensating inaccuracies caused by heat distortion is disclosed. Measurement of objects with different heat distribution involves use of heat compensation profiles with corresponding heat distribution. The heat compensation profile comprises a set of compensation coefficients that represent the deviation of the object having a heat distribution according to the heat compensation profile and the cooled down object. When the compensation coefficients are applied to the measured object the resulting measures correspond with the measurement results of the object after the object has been cooled.

The fluctuation range falls within the predetermined wavelength range.
