摘要: A memory device includes programmable memory cells and a programming circuit for programming a selected memory cell to a target logic state by applying one or more programming current pulses. A temperature sensor operates to sense a temperature of the memory device. A reading circuit reads a current logic state of the selected memory cell after a predetermined programming current pulse of the programming current pulses. The reading circuit includes a sensing circuit that senses a current logic state of the selected memory cell according to a comparison between a reading electric current depending on the current logic state of the selected memory cell and a reference current. An adjusting circuit adjusts one or the other of the reading electric current and the reference electric current to be provided to the sensing circuit according to the temperature of the memory device.

摘要: An integrated optical sensor is formed by a pinned photodiode. A semiconductor substrate includes a first semiconductor region having a first type of conductivity located between a second semiconductor region having a second type of conductivity opposite to the first type one and a third semiconductor region having the second type of conductivity. The third semiconductor region is thicker, less doped and located deeper in the substrate than the second semiconductor region. The third semiconductor region includes both silicon and germanium. In one implementation, the germanium within the third semiconductor region has at least one concentration gradient. In another implementation, the germanium concentration within the third semiconductor region is substantially constant.

摘要: An optical module includes an optical detector, laser emitter, and first and second support structures, each carried by a substrate. An optical layer includes first and second fixed portions carried by the support structures, a movable portion affixed between the fixed portions by a spring structure, and a lens system carried by the movable portion, the lens system including an objective lens and a beam shaping lens. The optical layer includes a comb drive with a first comb structure extending from the first fixed portion to interdigitate with a second comb structure extending from the movable portion, a third comb structure extending from the second fixed portion to interdigitate with a fourth comb structure extending from the movable portion, and actuation circuitry applying voltages to the comb structures to cause the movable portion of the optical layer to oscillate back and forth between the fixed portions.

摘要: A method of dynamic speed modulation in extended braking applications in a battery-powered electric vehicle is disclosed. The method includes determining a sensed parameter of the battery, and determining a parameter threshold of the battery. If the sensed parameter of the battery is the same or exceeds the parameter threshold, decreasing the groundspeed of the vehicle to a predetermined safe speed. If the sensed parameter of the battery is below the parameter threshold, determining the change in the parameter which would be caused by the regenerative braking system at the current groundspeed of the vehicle. If the change in the parameter would cause the sensed parameter to remain, reach or exceed the parameter threshold, correspondingly decreasing or increasing the groundspeed of the vehicle to cause the sensed parameter to approximate but not exceed the parameter threshold of the battery. A controller and electric vehicle capable of same, are also disclosed.

摘要: An electronic device includes laser emitters, and a laser driver generating a laser drive signal for the laser emitters based upon a feedback control signal. A steering circuit selectively steers the laser drive signal to a different selected one of the plurality of laser emitters and prevents the laser drive signal from being steered to non-selected ones of the plurality of laser emitters, during each of a plurality of time periods. Control circuitry senses a magnitude of a current of the laser drive signal and generates the feedback control signal based thereupon. The feedback control signal is generated so as to cause the laser driver to generate the laser drive signal as having a current with a substantially constant magnitude.

摘要: A circuit includes two thyristors coupled in anti-series. An AC capacitor has first and second electrodes respectively coupled to two different electrodes of the two thyristors. The first and second electrodes are coupled to receive an AC voltage. A control circuit detects discontinuance of application of the AC voltage to the AC capacitor and in response thereto simultaneously applies same gate currents to the two thyristors. A current path through the two thyristors (one passing current in forward mode and the other in reverse mode) discharges a residual voltage stored on the AC capacitor.
