    摘要: In a membrane separation apparatus, a cleaning effect for membrane elements by scrubbing is improved. In the membrane separation apparatus 14 including a separation membrane 5 (membrane element) dipped in treated liquid in a treatment bath 15, and air diffusing means 2 for diffusing air bubbles 6 for cleaning the separation membrane 5, an air bubbles staying plate 3 is provided between the air diffusing means 2 and the separation membrane 5. The air bubbles staying plate 3 is configured to allow air bubbles 6 diffused from the air diffusing device 2 to stay, by which air bubbles 6 gather each other to form air bubbles 6 having large diameters. By causing air bubbles having large diameters to act on the separation membrane 5, air bubbles 6 can be allowed to act whole the separation membrane 5.

    摘要: Correlation detectors 21 and 22 employ two different correlation detecting methods to determine correlations. Correlation comparators 23 and 24 output correlation values DF1 and DF2, and motion vectors MV1 and MV2 in directions representing largest correlation values. A correlation comparator 25 selects one of the motion vectors larger in correlation, as a motion vector MV3, to output an interpolation control signal FS1 to determine an interpolation method at an interpolator 3. The interpolator 3 is operative in accordance with the interpolation control signal FS1, to select any one out of two different one-side interpolations and a both-side interpolation, to generate interpolation pixel data fp0.

    摘要: In order to enable the appropriate amount of understeer to be produced in a suspension wherein the rear wheel is steered to produce a toe-in effect by a lateral rod/knuckle arm arrangement, a device which in some embodiments is hydraulically controlled and in others is mechanical, permits distortion of the elastomeric bushes which form part of the suspension unit to produce a relatively large amount of understeer at high speeds and restricts the distortion at lower speeds to reduce the amount of understeer to a level suitable for that speed.

    摘要: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4) alkyl group, X is a straight or branched chain C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkylene group and R.sub.2 is a carboxyl group or a sulfo group; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof exhibit strong inhibitory activities against a wide variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including Psendomonas aeruginosa, indolepositive Proteus and Enterobacter aerogenes, and also have an increased and prolonged serum level in a living body. The compounds are therefore useful as antibacterial agents for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
