    摘要: An engine control system comprises a torque control module and a fueling control module. The torque control module selectively generates a deactivation signal for a first cylinder of a plurality of cylinders of an engine based on a torque request. The fueling control module halts fuel delivery to the first cylinder based on the deactivation signal. The torque control module increases a spark advance of the engine at a first time after the fueling control module halts fuel injection for the first cylinder. The first time corresponds to an initial time combustion fails to occur in the first cylinder because fuel delivery has been halted.

The first integral module determines an engine speed (RPM) integral value based on a difference between a desired RPM and a measured RPM. The second integral module determines a torque integral value based on a difference between a desired torque output for an engine and an estimated torque of the engine. The summer module determines an RPM-torque integral value based on a difference between the RPM and torque integral values. The torque adjustment module determines a torque adjustment value based on the RPM-torque integral value and adjusts the desired torque output and the estimated torque based on the torque adjustment value.

    摘要: A control system and method of regulating operation of an engine includes a minimum torque module that determines a torque request based upon at least two of measured revolutions per minute (RPM) of an engine, a barometric pressure, and a coolant temperature of the engine. A first engine air module can determine a first desired engine air value based upon predetermined actuator values and a torque value based upon the torque request. The predetermined actuator values can include a predetermined RPM of the engine. A throttle area module can determine a desired throttle area based upon the first desired engine air value and the predetermined RPM.

    摘要: A hybrid diesel-electric powertrain includes an electric motor in electrical communication with a traction battery, a diesel engine in power-flow communication with the electric motor and with an automatic transmission, and a controller. The diesel engine and electric motor are configured to provide a combined torque to the automatic transmission. The powertrain further includes an exhaust aftertreatment device in fluid communication with the diesel engine. The controller is configured to: receive a regeneration request from the exhaust aftertreatment device; determine if a state-of-charge of the fraction battery is within a predetermined range of a target value; initiate a regeneration event if the state-of-charge of the traction battery is within the predetermined range of the target value; receive an immediate torque request from the automatic transmission; and provide a torque command to the electric motor in response to the immediate torque request.

An axle torque arbitration (ABA) module generates ABA predicted and immediate torque requests based on the driver input. A speed control (SC) module generates a first set of SC predicted and immediate torque requests based on engine speed. A propulsion torque arbitration (PTA) module generates PTA predicted and immediate torque requests based on one of the ABA predicted and immediate torque requests and the first set of SC predicted and immediate torque requests based on the operating mode. A torque output control module controls output torque of an engine based on the PTA predicted and immediate torque requests.
