摘要： A method for producing an optically active erythro-3-amino-2-hydroxybutyric ester as an important intermediate of pharmaceutical agents, specifically HIV protease inhibitor, in high purity and in high yield. The method includes producing an optically active erythro-3-amino-2-hydroxybutyric ester by oxidizing the hydroxyl group at the 2-position of an optically active 3-amino-2-hydroxybutyric ester, optically active at the 3-position, as represented by formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1 represents a phenyl group or a cyclohexyl group; R.sup.2 represents a protective group and R.sup.3 represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl residue; the steric configuration of *1 represents S configuration or R configuration), and then reducing erythro-selectively the resulting product by using aluminum alkoxide.

摘要： An apparatus for preventing flow noise which suppresses the noise caused at the time of opening of a throttle valve provided in an intake passage of an internal combustion engine etc. At the downstream side of a pair of clearances formed at the top and bottom when the throttle valve opens, a means is provided acting on the flows of air passing through at least one of the clearances to reduce the flow rate and acting on the flows to cause the point of convergence of the flows of air passing through the pair of clearances to shift to the downstream side.

The automatic implement control system helps maximize operator efficiency and convenience by allowing a predetermined angle, lift and/or tilt position of a work implement (40) to be stored in the memory of the controller (3). In operation, the implement (40) may be moved from that stored predetermined position to perform other functions. In an automatic mode, the controller (3) can return the implement (40) to that predetermined position at any time during the work cycle. A valve (15-70) is provided for selectively switching between manual and automatic modes.

摘要： An image display device for special uses which improves a color resolution of a particular color and increases a color reproducibility is provided. In the image display device, an area in which a gradient is gentle is provided to a partial region of a gamma curve denoted by a relationship of an input value (gray level) and an output value (luminance relative value) so that chromaticity points on chromaticity coordinates are unevenly distributed, thereby improving a chromatic resolving power (color resolution) of a particular color. In this manner, the color reproducibility of special monitors which display images of a particular color range represented by a monitor for remote metical care and a monitor for surgical operation can be improved.

摘要： The present invention provides a water-dispersed acrylic PSA composition suitable for forming a PSA sheet. The PSA composition contains 100 parts by weight of an acrylic copolymer with a Tg of −70° C. to −50° C. obtained by polymerization of a monomer starting material containing 60 wt % or more of an alkyl (meth)acrylate with a C8-12 alkyl group and 5 wt % or less of a radical polymerizable monomer with a carboxyl group. When an adhesive sheet is formed therefrom, it exhibits an average SUS adhesive strength of 11 N/20 mm or greater, PP adhesive strength of 8.5 N/20 mm or greater, 80° C. hold time of 1 hour or longer, and gap height of 10 mm or less in a curved surface adhesion test.
