    摘要: A jig for inspecting the appearance of small parts with an optical microscope, the jig is equipped with a base, having an upper flat surface which becomes a mounting stage of the optical microscope, and is also provided with a member for moving the upper flat surface at least in a direction approximately parallel to a direction of an optical axis of an objective lens of the optical microscope in order to focus the optical microscope on an inspection portion of the small parts mounted on the upper flat surface. The jig is also equipped with an inspection-object supporting portion, provided with a member for supporting the small parts at the predetermined portion on the base. Furthermore, the jig is equipped with reflecting mirrors which have a mirrorlike surface with an inclined angle of approximately 45 degrees to the upper flat surface of the base.

    摘要: An exhaust manifold integrally cast with a turbine housing for a turbocharger has pipe portions having exhaust gas flow paths and a plurality of ports adapted to receive an exhaust gas; flanges respectively extending from the ports; a converged portion connected to the pipe portions and adapted to converge the exhaust gas flow paths in the pipe portions; and a turbine housing integrally connected to the converged portion and having a circular exhaust gas flow path therein. The exhaust gas flow path in the converged portion is in a tangent direction relative to the circular exhaust gas flow path in the turbine housing. A neck portion that connects an outer surface of the turbine housing to an outer surface of the converged portion at a particular angle has a radius of curvature that is relative to the distance in a tangent direction of the exhaust gas flow path from the center of the turbine housing to the converged portion. Namely, the ratio of the radius of the curvature to the distance in the tangent direction of the exhaust gas flow path from the center of the turbine housing to the converged portion is 0.13 or more.

    摘要: A frequency synthesizer having reduced spurious components for use in a receiving and transmitting apparatus. The frequency synthesizer includes a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) for generating a first signal having a first frequency determined by channel setting data. The first signal is applied to a frequency divider to generate a divided signal having a divided frequency. The divided signal is applied to a frequency converter for shifting the divided frequency by a shift frequency interval to provide a reference signal having a reference frequency. The reference signal is applied to a phase locked loop (PLL) for generating a final signal having a predetermined frequency characteristic.

    摘要: When defective pixels of a solid state image pickup device of a video camera are corrected by signal processes, a white spot noise is detected by closing an iris and by comparing the signal level and a level of only a dark current. Further, in this case, a gain of an AGC circuit for controlling a gain of a video signal is raised and a precise detection is executed. By executing such a detecting operation at the time of turn-on or turn-off of a power source, the user is not annoying. In the ordinary photographing, a reference level in detection of a white spot noise is set to an optimum value in accordance with a temperature of the solid state image pickup device or its peripheral temperature or the gain of the AGC circuit so that the white spot noise detection is not influenced by the temperature of the solid state image pickup device or the operating state of the AGC circuit.
