The method includes a growing step for growing the nitride semiconductor further having an undoped GaN layer on a different materials substrate; subsequently, an attaching step for attaching the supporting substrate to the first conductive type nitride semiconductor layer side of the nitride semiconductor and interposing a first terminal between them; and subsequently, an exposing step for exposing the second conductive type nitride semiconductor layer by eliminating the different material substrate and the undoped GaN.

摘要： Disclosed is an image receiving sheet for forming a toner image by removably adhering toner thereto. The sheet has an irregular surface including a plurality of concavities in the form of continuous grooves for receiving the toner and ridges extending along the concavities, and a toner image can be formed by removably adhering the toner to the concavities. The ridges of the irregular surface are capable of protecting the toner adhering to the concavities. The continuously grooved concavities have a depth (height of ridges) of 20 μm to 150 μm; and a condition of E·A≧2 [GPa·μm] can be established wherein E[GPa] means Young's modulus and A [μm] means a width of ridges, the Young's modulus being a value when a material for forming the concavities and ridges is elongated by 1%. The ridges may be reinforced by reinforcing portions for retaining postures of the ridges.

摘要： Image forming apparatus having a photosensitive drum 1, a charger 2 for uniformly charging the photosensitive drum 1, an exposing means 3 for forming an electro-static latent image on the photosensitive drum 1, an exposing unit 4 for forming a visual image by developing the electro-static latent image, a transfer roller for transferring the visual image to a printing medium 10, which comprises a transfer voltage supply circuit that supplies the transfer roller 5 one or more times with voltage in one polar direction and successively in the other polar direction during an interval after starting of operation of the image forming apparatus and before the time when the printing medium 10 is transported to the transfer roller 5. By controlling in such a way, an image forming apparatus is provided in which memory effect does not arise, the transfer roller 5 being prevented from having accumulated toner attached thereto, the toner attached to the transfer roller 5 being cleaned, and so the reverse side surface of the printing medium 10 is not stained.

摘要： An intermediate transfer drum is employed and a photosensitive belt having a length equal to the outer peripheral length of the intermediate transfer drum is arranged with a vertical orientation. Developing units of the same shape are arranged on one side of the photosensitive belt, and a charging unit and a cleaner are arranged on the other side. The intermediate transfer drum is placed under or diagonally under the photosensitive belt. A transfer mechanism for transferring an image on the intermediate transfer drum to a sheet of paper is placed under or diagonally under the intermediate transfer drum. By this arrangement and construction, a small-size color electro-photographic apparatus having a size capable of easy use as a desk-top apparatus is provided, which satisfies quality of image, speed of printing, and easiness of maintenance requirements at the same time.
