摘要: A plastic molded product of olefin (co)polymer composition comprises 0.01-5.0 weight parts high molecular weight polyethylene with an intrinsic viscosity &eegr;E in the range of 15-100 dl/g measured in 135° C. tetralin and preferably 100 weight parts polypropylene. The high molecular weight polyethylene has an average particle size in the range of 1-5000 nm and is finely dispersed as fine granules in the polypropylene, so that high melt strength and high crystallization temperature are attained, enabling various molding methods to be performed with high speed productivity. Using the polymer composition, plastics such as a resin foam, a film, a sheet, a layered plastic article with a coated substrate surface, a hollow plastic article, an injection molded plastic article, a fiber, a nonwoven web or a continuous tube-shaped plastic are provided. The olefin (co)polymer composition is obtained by preparing high molecular weight polyethylene granules using e.g. a titanium transition metal compound catalyst, and adding these, e.g. as a polymerization catalyst of propylene, singly or together with a polyolefin preparing catalyst.

摘要: A wet friction member which can maintain boundary lubrication by decreasing the thickness of oil film on a friction surface even when the sliding velocity increases. In a case where the friction surface of the friction member is in pressure contact with a mated member while rotating in a state of boundary lubrications a shearing resistance owing to viscosity of cooling oil is circumferentially applied to cooling oil in outer grooves in the friction surface. Since outer grooves extend from starting position of intermediate portions of the friction surface and terminate at the outer peripheral edge in a volute shape toward the direction of rotation, cooling oil in the outer grooves flows along the groove walls and is quickly discharged from opening portions at the outer peripheral edge.

摘要: There is disclosed a composite slide member which suppresses the exposure of a porous metal layer even when the amount of cutting from a surface of the slide member increases, thereby enhancing an anti-seizing property without adversely affecting a rear resistance. The composite slide member includes a back plate, and a slide layer including a porous metal layer with a porosity of 50% to 80% and a composite synthetic resin composition impregnated and coated in pores of the porous metal layer. The porous metal layer is joined to a surface of the back plate. The porous metal layer is formed by sintering metal powder without applying pressure thereto, and an apparent density of the metal powder is 20% to 40% of its theoretical density. The porous metal and the composite synthetic resin are dispersed on a sliding surface of the slide layer in a substantially mixed condition.

摘要: A ceramics circuit board is manufactured by preliminarily preparing a circuit pattern base composed of a plurality of circuit pattern elements connected by bridging pieces each having a thickness smaller than that of the circuit pattern element, preferably less than half thickness of the circuit pattern base, applying and bonding the circuit pattern base onto one surface of a ceramics board base and removing the bridging pieces by effecting an etching treatment to thereby form a circuit pattern having a predetermined shape on the one surface of the ceramics board base. The circuit pattern base and the bridging pieces are formed of one metallic plate by partially effecting etching treatment. The bridging pieces are arranged so as to have a gap between a rear surface thereof and the one surface of the ceramics board base when the circuit pattern base is applied on the one surface of the ceramics board base. The bonding step may be carried out by forming, on a surface to be bonded, an eutectic material composed of the same metallic material as that composing the circuit pattern base and oxygen. It is preferred that the method further includes the step of applying and bonding a copper plate to another surface of the ceramics board base before the etching treatment.

摘要: Disclosed is a joined ceramic-metal composite having a copper sheet directly joined to a ceramic substrate and a method for the production thereof. This composite is characterized by having a plurality of parallel grooves formed on the surface of the copper sheet to be joined to the ceramic substrate. The products of this invention show substantially none of the defects such as blisters inflicated on the copper sheet during the course of union by heating and, therefore, serve advantageously as ceramic circuit substrates for use in transistor modules, for example.
