摘要: A power transmission mechanism is attached to a housing of a rotary machine for inputting power to a rotary shaft of the rotary machine and includes a rotary body that is rotatably supported by the housing through a rotary body bearing and an electric motor, a stator of which is supported by the housing through a stator bracket. A positioning structure for the power transmission mechanism includes a bearing positioning means and a bracket positioning means. The bearing positioning means positions the rotary body bearing forward and rearward in an axial direction of the rotary shaft relative to the housing and has front and rear positioning surfaces. The bracket positioning means positions the stator bracket forward and rearward in the axial direction and has front and rear positioning surfaces. At least one of the front and rear positioning surfaces of the respective positioning means is shared with each other.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor for efficiently cooling and lubricating seals arranged on a rotary shaft. The seals are arranged at end portions of the rotary shaft that project from a housing of the compressor. A first lubrication chamber is defined by a first seal in the housing around the front end portion of the rotary shaft. A second lubrication chamber is defined by a second seal in the housing around the rear end portion of the rotary shaft. A shaft passage extends through the rotary shaft to connect the first and second lubrication chambers. Refrigerant gas including lubricating oil flows from a crank chamber to a suction chamber via the first lubrication chamber, the shaft passage, and the second lubrication chamber. This efficiently cools and lubricates the seals.

摘要: A plated copper alloy material for connecting terminals is provided which comprises a parent material of copper or copper alloy, a nickel layer and a copper-tin alloy layer. The nickel layer has a thickness of 0.1-1.0 &mgr;m. The copper-tin alloy layer has a thickness of 0.1-1.0 &mgr;m and contains 35-75 at % of copper. The material may additionally have a tin layer no thicker than 0.5 &mgr;m for an engaging type terminal containing 0.001-0.1 mass % of carbon, or thicker than 0.5 &mgr;m for a non-engaging type connector. The material meets requirements for capability of insertion with a small force, good electric reliability (due to low contact resistance) in a high-temperature atmosphere, workability for sharp bending without cracking, good solder wettability and good corrosion resistance to sulfur dioxide gas.

摘要: An air conditioning system for a vehicle that is driven by a vehicular power source. The system has a compressor selectively operable by the vehicular power source and an electric motor. The electric motor is used as a drive force of the compressor when the vehicular power source is in a non-operative state. The compressor compresses refrigerant gas introduced into a suction chamber from an external refrigerant circuit. A displacement of the compressor is variable, based on a differential pressure. The compressor has a control valve that is disposed on a refrigerant passage communicating with the crank chamber. The control valve has a valve plunger for changing an opening size of the control valve to adjust pressure in the crank chamber. The air conditioning system comprises pressure sensing member, actuator, and controller. The pressure sensing member is disposed in the control valve and applies biasing force to the plunger based on pressure in the external circuit. The biasing force is applied to cancel change of the pressure in the external circuit. The actuator is disposed in the control valve and applies reverse force against the biasing force to the plunger. The plunger is moved to increase the displacement by the reverse force. The controller controls the actuator to increase the reverse force in steps by a magnitude that is small enough that the electric motor is able to stably drive the compressor.
