Abstract:
An article of apparel including insulation material includes an insulating layer formed of waterfowl fibers and synthetic fibers. The waterfowl fibers can be present in an amount of at least 20% by weight of the insulating layer. The insulating layer is generally free of waterfowl plumage.
Abstract:
A preparation process of spunlace intertwining type recycled cow leather comprises a material preparation process, a cow leather fiber web forming process, as well as a mixed fiber web forming process, an overlapped web forming process, a base fabric manufacturing process and a cow leather finished product manufacturing process which are sequentially arranged according to a preparation process flow; the base fabric manufacturing process comprises a buffing process, a single-side immersion treatment process and an ironing process which are sequentially arranged for manufacturing the overlapped web into the base fabric; and the single-side immersion treatment process comprises the steps of subjecting a single side of the base fabric to single-side coating treatment of the water-based PU material or the oil-based PU material by adopting an inverted feeding device and using a water-based PU material or an oil-based PU material as a coating so as to form a single-side permeable immersion layer of the base fabric.

Abstract:
The present invention provides an anti-pilling wool fabric with a coating having pilling resistance and resistance to fiber loss from fabric surface. The coating is formed by a coating formulation including at least two diisocyanates, at least two catalyst, a water dispersing agent, a buffer and water, which provides a polycarbodiimide crosslinker reactive to the relative less reactive groups on polypeptide of the wool fabric and promotes crosslinking between polypeptides of the wool fabric under relatively mild processing conditions so as to enhance mechanical strength of the wool fabric whilst no significant effect of the original finish merino wool fabric and/or garment and fiber loss from fabric surface are observed, compared to conventional treatment methods on wool fabric. A corresponding coating formulation and method of fabricating the anti-pilling wool fabric are also provided. The present invention is applicable to finished wool fabric which fibers are already with colorant(s), and/or dye(s), and/or reactive dye(s).
Abstract:
Described herein is a method for producing a biofabricated material from collagen or collagen-like proteins which are recombinantly produced and which contain substantially no 3-hydroxyproline. The collagen or collagen-like proteins are isolated from animal sources, or produced by recombinant DNA techniques or by chemical synthesis. The collagen or collagen-like proteins are fibrillated, crosslinked, dehydrated and lubricated thus forming the biofabricated material having a substantially uniform network of collagen fibrils.
Abstract:
A method for providing a textile product includes the steps of providing yarns, contacting the yarns with a support material to form an intermediate product and bonding the yarns to the support material to form the textile product, wherein the bonding takes place by providing a reactive nucleus precursor at a site where the yarns contact the support material, and converting the precursor into a compound having multiple reactive nuclei in the presence of a compound having multiple nucleophilic groups, as well as a textile product obtainable by the method, uses of that product and lignin for use in producing such a textile product.
Abstract:
A modified material for use with a capacitive touch screen is described. The modified material comprises a material impregnated with a composition comprising either a non-metallic and/or a metallic conductive agent with a binder. A variety of materials are contemplated, including, but not limited to leather. Also described is an apparatus and method of providing a conductive glove is disclosed.
Abstract:
A process for making a Drylon rug is disclosed, wherein the said process comprises use of dope dyed, micro-denier filament, cabled and heat set polyester yarn or micro denier filament, cabled heat set dyed with antimicrobial treatment for tufting of rugs, thereby eliminating the process of batch dyeing after the formation of rugs and further ensuring that the rugs are bleach safe, quick drying, anti microbial and stain resistant. The present invention also discloses Drylon rugs as manufactured using yarns of invention. Further, the present invention discloses the process for manufacture of Drylon yarns.
