Abstract: A remote alarm for use with a wearable medical device. The remote alarm is configured to receive alarms, voice messages and prompts issued by the wearable medical device and to repeat those alarms, voice messages and prompts in a manner that can more easily be perceived by a patient wearing the wearable medical device or a bystander. The remote alarm can be configured to receive a communication from the wearable medical device, and in response, to identify one or more messages to be provided to the patient or a bystander. The messages may be provided audibly, visually, tactilely or combinations thereof. The remote alarm may further be configured to take certain actions depending upon the content of the communication, such as sending a telephone message to alert emergency personnel to the identity, location and medical condition of the patient, or sending an email.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods of a health monitoring device comprising: a flexible circuit, an absorbent product, and, a processing unit. The flexible circuit comprises: an electrochemical biosensor, a color sensor, an LED, and, a moisture sensor. The electrochemical biosensor comprises a plurality of reference electrodes. The processing unit comprises: a GPS antenna, a power unit, a BLUETOOTH® low energy transceiver, a GPS transceiver, a microcontroller, and, an accelerometer. The processing unit is electronically coupled to the flexible circuit. The methods comprise: obtaining health data from health monitoring device; recording the health data on the memory unit; transmitting the health data to a data communication device; and, displaying the health data on the data communication device.

Abstract: An oxygen measurement device constituting an oxygen measurement system includes a urethral catheter and an oxygen sensor main body. The urethral catheter has a shaft in which a urethral catheter lumen that enables circulation of urine flowed in via a urethral catheter port from inside a bladder is formed; and has a hub in which a urine lumen that is provided at a proximal end of the shaft and communicates with the urethral catheter lumen is formed. The oxygen sensor main body is provided on the hub in a manner capable of being brought into contact with urine circulating in the urine lumen, and detects oxygen in the urine.

Abstract: A wearable device configured to measure physiological parameters of a subject is described. The wearable device can include a dock having a plurality of prongs, a dock circuit layer having a plurality of conductive strips positioned along the plurality of prongs, and a plurality of electrodes in electrical communication with the dock circuit layer. The wearable device can also include a hub configured to be removably secured to the dock, the hub having a housing with a plurality of openings, and a hub circuit layer arranged within the interior of the housing. When the hub and dock are secured to one another, the plurality of prongs of the frame extend towards the plurality of openings of the housing of the hub and cause the plurality of conductive strips to contact portions of the hub circuit layer to facilitate electrical communication between the plurality of electrodes and the hub circuit layer.

Abstract: An individual monitoring device includes a main body provided with a display screen, a bracelet linked to the main body, a measurement instrument to be positioned opposite a radial artery of the wrist of the user, a processor and a location device. The location device includes a geolocation sensor, an avalanche victim detector and a communications device configured to communicate with a beacon. The device monitors against drowning of a child and includes a first sensor to measure a first parameter physiological parameter of the child, and a second sensor to measure a second physiological parameter of the child. The processor is configured to analyze the first physiological parameter and the second measured physiological parameter, and output information indicating the detection or the non-detection of an anomaly based on the analysis of the first and second physiological parameters.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for remote patient management and monitoring. The patient is monitored with a wireless sensor system connected to an application executing on a patient user computing device. The system continuously monitors physiological parameters, such as, but not limited to, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, perfusion index, pleth variability index, and/or respiration rate from the photoplethysmograph. The system triggers alarms if the patient physiological data violates thresholds. Care providers review patient data and associated alarm(s) with graphical user interfaces.

Abstract: The present invention resides in one aspect in a device for monitoring luminal esophageal temperatures in a patient. The device includes a probe adapted to be inserted into an esophagus of the patient. The probe extends between a proximal end and a distal end. A first temperature sensor and a second temperature sensor are coupled to the probe. An electrode is also coupled to the probe. The second temperature sensor is displaced from the first temperature sensor along a longitudinal axis of the probe. A controller processes information received by the electrodes and the temperature sensors. The controller generates a live and continuously updating three dimensional anatomic map and three dimensional thermal map of the esophagus based at least in part on the information received from the temperature sensors and the electrodes. The thermal map and the anatomic map are displayed on a video monitor.
