摘要： A process for producing a polymer having sulfonic acid groups is provided which comprises treating a polymer having sulfonate salt groups with a ion-exchange resin to change the sulfonate salt groups into sulfonate acid groups with porous-type strongly acidic cation exchange resin. A process for producing a tertiary alcohol is also provided which comprises hydration of olefin by use of the aforementioned polymer as the catalyst. By the process, a tertiary alcohol is produced by hydration of olefin with high selectivity at low cost.

摘要： A package tester includes an inlet station for arranging a test board in which package sockets mounting packages are disposed in one or plural lines for performing package test by flowing an electric current through the package and transmitting signals to the package, the package being composed of parts including electric parts or electronic parts and being sequentially formed on a package tape, an inlet pusher for pushing the test board mounting the packages by a width of the test board in a feeding direction of the test board from the inlet station to the package socket, a conveyor for receiving the test board sequentially pushed out of the inlet station by the inlet pusher and conveying the received test board to a testing area, a contact device opposed to the conveyor and capable of being electrically connected to the test board arranged on the conveyor, an outlet station receiving the test board sequentially pushed out of the conveyor by sequentially pushing-out of the test board by means of the inlet pusher, and a reaction urging device for allowing the test board to be pushed out while supporting the test board pushed out to the outlet station with force weaker than pushing out force in the inlet pusher.

摘要： An automatic analyzer is capable of controlling the gap between the tip of the sample nozzle and the bottom surface of the reaction container and restricting the sample attached to the tip of the sample nozzle. A movement distance of an arm is calculated and stored while the tip of the sample nozzle contacts a coordinate measurement stand until a stop position detector detects a stop position detection plate. The sample nozzle is moved toward the bottom surface of the reaction container and is stopped at the time when the stop position detector detects the stop position detection plate. The arm is moved upwardly for the movement distance stored in memory from this position. The sample nozzle can be stopped such that the tip of the sample nozzle is contacted to the bottom surface of the reaction container and the bend (warp) of the sample nozzle is restricted.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a television apparatus includes a main body, a housing, an exothermic component, and a heat transfer mechanism. The main body has a display screen, and is used in a first orientation where one side of the display screen is positioned on the upper side and in a second orientation where another side is positioned on the upper side. The housing at least partially constitutes the outline of the main body. The exothermic component is housed in the housing. The heat transfer mechanism includes a heat receiving portion that receives heat from the exothermic component, a heat releasing portion that releases heat, and a heat transferring portion that houses a medium to transfer heat from the heat receiving portion to the heat releasing portion. In both the first orientation and the second orientation, the heat receiving portion is located lower than the heat releasing portion.
