An inventory of pump components has an identifier to track the pump component and a sensor to gather operating data associated with the pump component. A population of pumps is assembled from the pump components. The operating data are correlated with the pump components based on the identifiers in a network-accessible database. The pump components can include interchangeable pump body modules that are separately tracked, whereby the pumps can be repaired by removing and replacing the interchangeable pump body modules.

    摘要: A method for operating a gas turbine engine including a combustor assembly includes channeling a first fluid through a plurality of first nozzles into the combustor and igniting the first fluid downstream from the first nozzles. The method also includes increasing the operating speed of the engine and attaining a first predetermined percentage of a baseload by channeling the first fluid only through the first nozzles and then channeling a second fluid through a second nozzle into the combustor. The method also includes igniting the second fluid within the combustor downstream from the second nozzle. The method further includes channeling the second fluid to the first nozzles when the engine attains a second predetermined percentage of the baseload. The second predetermined percentage of the baseload is greater than the first predetermined percentage of the baseload. The method also includes terminating a flow of the first fluid through the first nozzles.

    摘要: A precision pump system having a motor driver for accurately and repeatedly delivering process fluid, (e.g., photo chemicals) using a pumping fluid with minimal process fluid loss to a fabrication process and whereby the motor driver can be easily and quickly replaced without interrupting the fluid flow path. This is accomplished with the use of a process fluid reservoir and a pumping fluid reservoir that are associated with the pump, either integrated with the pump or closely adjacent. In addition, this precision pump system can be remotely monitored, viewed and controlled over the Internet. In addition, trapped process fluid within a downstream filtering block can be recirculated to the process fluid reservoir when trapped gas in the filter is removed. Furthermore, a nitrogen gas source is connected to the process fluid reservoir via a valve in case a need to insert a gas is required.

    摘要: A multi-pump apparatus includes a first component in a fluid heat transfer system, such as a heat exchanger, the first component including a body portion forming a first interface surface. A pumping component includes a second interface surface. The first and second interface surfaces are planar and combine to define two pump cavities and a planar interface groove supporting a seal ring that extends around the two pump cavities to prevent leakage of fluid from the pump cavities. The pumping component includes a pump impeller in each of the pump cavities and independently-controlled separate motors driving the two pump impellers using an on-board circuit board. One of the first and second components also defines a fluid inlet to and a fluid outlet from each of the pump cavities. Related methods are also defined.

    摘要: A pump fitting has an inlet adaptor (10) for connection to an outlet (39) of a container (38) of fluid and including an inlet passage (10), an outlet passage (11) for fluid and a pump housing (12) between the inlet passage (10) and the outlet passage (11). The pump housing (12) contains a rotor (17) rotatably received in an interior surface of the housing (12). The rotor (17) includes a housing-engaging surface (23, 24) co-operating with the interior surface of the housing (12) to form a seal therebetween and also including at least one shaped surface (21, 22) radially inwardly of the housing-engaging surface and forming with the interior surface of the housing a chamber (25, 26) for conveying fluid from the inlet passage (10) to the outlet passage (11) on rotation of the rotor (17). A seal (28) is provided between the outlet passage (10) and the inlet passage (11), the seal (28) being urged into engagement with the rotor (17) to prevent fluid passing from the outlet passage (11) to the inlet passage (10) as the shaped surface rotates. The inlet passage (10), the outlet passage (11) and the housing (12) are formed as a one-piece moulding.

    摘要: The illustrative embodiments described herein are directed to apparatuses, systems, and methods for managing liquid flow associated with a tissue site that involves using reduced pressure to control fluid flow. In one instance, an apparatus includes a first valve and a second valve in fluid communication with a reduced-pressure source. The valves are movable between an open position and a closed position and are operable to change flow status (open to closed or vice versa) based on a presence of reduced pressure. At least one of the first valve or the second valve is in the closed position to obstruct a flow of a liquid while the other is in the open position. The apparatus also includes a reservoir fluidly coupled to the first valve and the second valve. Other systems, methods, and apparatuses are presented.
