    摘要: The invention is directed to a method for operating control apparatus during delayed shutoff after switching off the ignition of an internal combustion engine. This method protects the battery as far as possible and for this method, three principles are applied individually or in any desired combination but preferably all together. The first principle provides that the delayed-shutoff functions are no longer carried out, as has been conventional, until a fixed pregiven time duration is reached; instead, the functions are either interrupted when values of special variables reach a fixed pregiven threshold or a threshold fixed in dependence upon operating variables in advance of switch-off of the engine is reached. The particular monitored physical variable and the threshold value corresponding thereto are each so selected that, when the actual value reaches the threshold value and accordingly, the delayed-shutoff function is interrupted or not even started, this occurs without essentially influencing the new start capacity of the engine. The second principle provides that delayed-shutoff functions, and especially those which require a high current flow, are not carried out simultaneously but instead sequentially. The third principle provides that the current-supplying capacity of the battery is monitored and as soon as it becomes apparent that this current-supplying capacity is just sufficient for a new start of the cooled-down engine, the delayed-shutoff functions are interrupted or not even begun.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an apparatus for controlling the overrun mode of operation of an internal combustion engine in dependence on the instantaneous rotational speed and a threshold characteristic of a resume speed. A throttle valve position sensor, a speed comparator and an evaluation circuit for determining a fuel supply cutoff or a fuel metering signal are provided. Means responsive to engine speed or actuable at the operator's discretion permit the circuit to be held in a state in which the overrun cutoff signals are suppressed. If these means are speed-dependent, a dynamic suppression for a predetermined period of time results; the means utilized for suppressing the overrun cutoff function may also be actuated in response to external driving situations or in response to the conditions of other components of the vehicle.

    摘要: An air flow rate measuring device is proposed for an internal combustion engine. The air flow rate measuring device includes a baffle valve disposed in the air intake tube and a signal generating circuit coupled therewith. A damping member is associated with the signal generating circuit. This damping member serves to damp the so-called over-swings in the output signal caused by the sluggishness of the baffle valve and thereby avoid incorrect fuel metering. Two embodiments of damping members are disclosed, both comprising resistor-capacitor combinations together with a diode, in which the stored capacitor charge assumes the function of damping the output signal of the signal generating circuit.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a system for setting the throttle flap angle for an internal combustion engine. The system sets the idle stop for the idle throttle flap angle and monitors the setting with respect to defects that occur. If the throttle flap is in contact engagement with the idle stop, a contact is actuated which causes a buffer storage of the actual throttle flap angle which thereby represents the position of the idle stop. If then, for example, the idle stop changes during driving operation, its new position is established upon a renewed contact engagement of the throttle flap, by measuring the throttle flap angle. A possible defect can be established from a comparison of actual and desired values and a positioning motor is then appropriately driven to displace the idle stop. This system has the advantage that a defect occurring in the region of the positioning motor is detected without additional circuit complexity.

When the engine or exhaust gas probe is still cold, the composition of the fuel-air mixture is controlled in an open-loop manner, and upon the attainment of a minimum operating temperature, the closed-loop regulating device for influencing the fuel-air mixture is activated. The activation of the regulating device is effected, when the engine is being operated under a load, after the attainment of a first, low temperature value; during engine idling, this is effected after the attainment of a second, higher temperature value. Via the throttle valve, a switchover is effected between two threshold values of a threshold switch.
