    摘要: Fine granular feeds for fry of fishes and shellfishes capable of remarkably elevating the survival rate of fry, improving the cultivation efficiency, and causing little elution of nitrogen sources therefrom into seawater or water in feeding, which are characterized by containing at least three active components, i.e., (a) a long-chain unsaturated fatty acid calcium salt blend comprising 80% by weight or more of long-chain unsaturated fatty acid calcium salt(s) having at least 18 carbon atoms, (b) 20% by weight or less of a browned matter formed by heating molasses or saccharides, a browned matter formed by heating saccharides with amino acids or a mixture thereof at an arbitrary ratio, and (c) a mixture of peptides obtained by hydrolyzing animal protein, and being in the form of fine grains.

    摘要: A method for producing a peptide mixture from a starting protein by (1) adding at least one protease to an aqueous solution of at least one starting protein to hydrolyse the starting protein, (2) measuring the amount of a free amino acid selected from the group consisting of lysine, phenylalanine, leucine and arginine produced during the hydrolysis of the starting protein, (3) calculating the amount of the free amino acid with respect to the total amount of amino acid contained in the starting protein, and (4) terminating the hydrolysis when the calculated amount of the free amino acid with respect to the total amount of the amino acid contained in the starting protein falls within a predetermined range. The inventive method provides a starting protein hydrolysate of uniform and consistent quality.

    摘要: A method for treatment of a matter which contains moisturized or liquified lactoferrin which has been isolated from mammalian milk, processed mammalian milk and by-products in mammalian milk-processing, without losing the physiological activities of lactoferrin, which comprises adjusting pH of said moisturized or liquefied lactoferrin contained in said matter within an acidic range between 2.0 and 6.0 both inclusive by adding acid or aqueous solution of acid when the pH of said moisturized or liquefied lactoferrin is out of said pH range, and heating said matter in the range from 60.degree. C. to 130.degree. C. for a span of time which may assure 60% or more of undenaturization rate of lactoferrin.
