    摘要: An apparatus and method for forming an alignment layer with uniform orientation is provided. An alignment layer-forming apparatus includes an ion source for generating ion beams and one or more masks disposed between the ion source and a substrate. The masks each have a reflective face directed to the substrate. The ion beams are reflected between the reflective face of each mask and a thin-film which is disposed on the substrate and which is processed into an alignment layer, whereby the alignment layer is formed with the ion beam finally applied to the thin-film. The orientation of a liquid crystal can be rendered uniform by varying the shape and/or arrangement of the reflective face of the mask. Hence, a liquid crystal display with no brightness or color non-uniformity can be manufactured.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for forming an alignment layer with uniform orientation is provided. An alignment layer-forming apparatus includes an ion source for generating ion beams and one or more masks disposed between the ion source and a substrate. The masks each have a reflective face directed to the substrate.     摘要: A process for producing a silane-modified cationized polymeric compound, the process including the steps of: (1) cationizing a water-soluble polymeric compound in a mixed solvent of a water-miscible organic solvent and water in the presence of an alkali to produce a slurry containing a cationized polymeric compound, (2) adding an aminosilane compound to the slurry or a cake produced therefrom, thereby treating the cationized polymeric compound with the aminosilane compound, (3) optionally adding an acid to the slurry obtained in step (1) or a product obtained in step (2), and (4) drying a product obtained in step (2) or a product obtained by performing step (3) after step (2), wherein the drying step (4) includes a primary drying treatment step of performing drying at a temperature of 50 to 140° C. under a degree of vacuum of 4.0 to 53.3 kPa, and a secondary drying treatment step of drying the product obtained following the primary drying treatment at a temperature of 90 to 155° C. The process enables a silane-modified cationized polymeric compound having excellent water dispersibility to be produced with good efficiency.

The elastic laminate sheet does not easily break even when repeatedly stretched and demonstrates sufficient retention capacity for practical use even when attached to a main body part of a hygienic article or the like.
