A pulse width modulated solenoid system having low noise characteristics is described. Noise reduction is primarily achieved by separating the solenoid device from the insulator and the manifold housing through the use of rubber isolators and multiple sets of o-rings, thus preventing metal to metal contact. Additional noise reduction is achieved by encapsulating all of the solenoids, using the insulator, the cover plate, the housing, and the screen carrier. Noise levels are also further reduced by minimizing the impact force of the armature against the sleeve by allowing fluid to vent into the upper area of the sleeve, thus causing a dampening effect.

A method is provided for the punching of a bridge break and thereafter sealing the bridge break during the injection molding process of the lead frame. The bridge breaking tool is placed over the bridge that is to be broken. The collar presses down on the circuit and the punch presses down on the bridge with enough force to form the bridge break. Once the bridge break is formed the punch is retracted from the cavity of the template and molten polymer is injected to flow around the ends of the bridge break. The bridge breaking tool's hold down collars and retracted punch form a molding area for molten polymer to flow over the bridge break and the exposed circuit area. The bridge breaking tool is retracted after the bridge break is encased in the cured molten polymer and the cured molten polymer forms a lead frame structure.

A family of crystalline aluminosilicate zeolites designated UZM-8HS and derived from UZM-8 have been synthesized. The aluminum content of the UZM-8HS is lower than that of the starting UZM-8 thus changing its ion exchange capacity and acidity. These UZM-8HS are represented by the empirical formula: M1an+Al(1−x)ExSiy′Oz″and are prepared by treatments such as acid extraction and AFS treatments.

A series of crystalline alumino-silicate zeolites identified as UZM-12 have been synthesized. These UZM-12 compositions have the ERI topology, a Si/Al >5.5 and can be prepared as nanocrystallites having an average particle size of about 15 to about 50 nanometers and a spheroidal morphology. The UZM-12 composition can be treated to remove at least a fraction of the framework aluminum atoms thereby providing zeolites with a Si/Al 75.75 and identified as UZM-12HS. Both the UZM-12 and UZM-12HS can catalyze various hydrocarbon conversion processes.

A main support having at least N perforations from a first surface of the main support through a second surface of the main support in predefined locations. The main support is equipped with a flat support temporarily attached to its first surface. All samples are loaded simultaneously. A flat surface of each sample, where the flat surfaces are a common plane, is formed by forcing the samples within the perforations against the flat support. The samples are retained in position within the perforations against the flat support using at least one cover. The flat surfaces of the samples are in predefined locations and are all in a common plane.
