摘要: Human or animal body fluids can be measured in-vivo to determine analyte concentrations, such as glucose. The measurement system comprises an exchangeable sensor for in-vivo placement, a data carrier with calibration data for the sensor, a housing having a first chamber for receiving a sterile sensor and a second chamber for receiving a data carrier, and a base station that couples to the housing for transmitting measurement signals to an evaluation unit. Replacement sterile sensors can be packaged in a sterile package and the data carrier associated with the replacement sensor can be packaged in a non-sterile package.

摘要: The invention relates to embodiments of an analysis system and to a method for analyzing a sample on an analytical test element, with the analysis system comprising a test element receptacle for receiving and positioning a test element in an analysis position. In an exemplary embodiment, the test element receptacle contains a guide part and a lock part, the guide part having means for guiding a test element into and out of the analysis position, the lock part comprising a frame and a bolt element, which frame and bolt element are connected to one another by a hinge. The bolt element can be pivoted about the hinge between a first position and a second position with respect to the frame. The bolt element comprises a latching lug for engaging in a recess in test element when the bolt element is in the first position and when the test element is positioned in the analysis position.

摘要: The invention concerns plasma separation on a microliter scale. The method/system according to the invention is able to provide plasma in the range of several microliters within a very short time as it is required, for example, in modern analyses by carrier-bound test elements. Plasma separation and plasma release is carried out in two separate consecutive steps of the method using the device according to the invention such that hemolysis during plasma separation can be avoided despite an accelerated procedure. The device comprises a disposable unit in which the device is characterized by an economical and simple method of production.
