摘要： Disclosed is an amine derivative represented by the following formula (1) or an acid addition salt thereof: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a group ##STR2## a cyclopentyl group, cyclohexyl group, or a cycloheptyl group, R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom or C1-C3 alkyl group which may be substituted by one or more hydroxyl groups, m is an integer falling in the range from 3 to 5 inclusive, and n is an integer falling in the range from 9 to 11 inclusive. Also, intermediates useful in the manufacture of the amine derivative (1), compositions for external application to the skin containing the amine derivative, and keratinization improvers containing the amine derivative as an active component are described. The compound (1) has excellent keratinization improving action, pigmentation preventing action, etc.

摘要： The present invention provides a needle-shaped ceramic body and needle-shaped ceramic catalyst body in which a base material is a high specific surface area porous cordierite body that is stable at high temperatures, and also provides methods of producing this needle-shaped ceramic body and needle-shaped ceramic catalyst body. The present invention relates to a needle-shaped ceramic body and needle-shaped ceramic catalyst body in which a base material is a high temperature-stable, high specific surface area porous cordierite body comprising a porous structure having a prescribed porosity and formed of a needle-shaped cordierite crystal phase, and further relates to methods of producing this needle-shaped ceramic body and needle-shaped ceramic catalyst body, and by using porous cordierite constituted of needle-shaped crystals as a catalyst-supporting honeycomb structure, the present invention is able to inhibit sintering-induced reduction in the specific surface area. Since a honeycomb can be directly produced as the cordierite sinter itself, an inexpensive product can be provided through the simplifying the prior-art step of coating the interior of the honeycomb.

摘要： A ceramic body, a ceramic catalyst body, a ceramic catalyst body and related manufacturing methods are disclosed wherein a cordierite porous base material has a surface, formed with acicular particles made of a component different from that of cordierite porous base material, which has an increased specific surface area with high resistance to a sintering effect. The ceramic body is manufactured by preparing a slurry containing an acicular particle source material, preparing a porous base material, applying the slurry onto a surface of the porous base material and firing the porous base material, whose surface is coated with the slurry, to cause acicular particles to develop on the surface of the porous base material. A part of or a whole of surfaces of the acicular particles is coated with a constituent element different from that of the acicular particles.

摘要： A stopper portion has a minute protrusion on part of an outer peripheral face except a side face in the length direction of a fastener tape. This protrusion is a rib-like protrusion extended linearly in the length direction of the fastener tape formed on a vertex of the surface of a bent portion, a protrusion extended so as to be expanded in a curved shape in the length direction of the fastener tape or a rib-like protrusion protruded along a boundary portion between the bent portion of the stopper portion and a bottom face thereof. Existence of this protrusion not only reduces a sliding resistance when the slider is started but also eliminates prickly feeling and feeling of disharmony originating from a shape of an upper stopper which is a kind of the conventional stopper portion.

摘要： A header tape for a curtain or the like comprises loop regions for use with a hook and loop fastener. The loop regions cause the header tape to be thicker in these regions. The loops of the loop regions will be pulled out under constant use unless the back of regions are coated by an adhesive. Using the difference in thickness between loop regions and the non-loop region, intermittent coating can be achieved by feeding the header tape through a small gap between a press roller and a coating roller. The gap is chosen so that it is smaller than the thickness of the loop regions but larger than the thickness of the non-loop region of the header tape.

The polylactic acid-based resin composition containing an impact resistance enhancing agent for a polylactic acid-based resin of the present invention has excellent impact resistance properties, so that the resin composition can be suitably used in, for example, agricultural materials, food wrapping materials, and other wrapping materials, and the like.

摘要： A needle-shaped ceramic body having as its base material a cordierite porous body having a high specific surface area and superior thermal shock resistance, and a needle-shaped catalyst-ceramic body are provided.The present invention relates to a needle-shaped ceramic body having as its base material a needle-shaped cordierite in which the tips thereof are rounded, a needle-shaped catalyst-ceramic body loaded with a catalyst, and a method of production of a ceramic body in which a portion of a raw material (fluoride) gasified by a reaction between raw materials is grown into a needle like shape on the metal catalyst (Fe), wherein the tips of needle-shaped particles are rounded, using a vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) reaction, in a raw material burning process.A honeycomb structure composed of the needle-shaped ceramic for supporting a catalyst is provided, in which decreases in specific surface area caused by sintering can be inhibited, and it enables early catalyst activation due to the low thermal capacity, and has low pressure loss.

The cartridge syringe 1 of the present invention comprises a syringe body 3 having a cartridge housing portion 11, a needle holding member 5 that is disposed in a connectable manner to the tip of the syringe body 3, and a plunger 7 that is slidably disposed on a base-end side of the syringe body 3, the plunger 7 having a pusher 37 at the tip thereof, wherein a one-touch loading mechanism is provided in the syringe body 3 or at a coupling portion between the syringe body 3 and the plunger 7, the one-touch loading mechanism allowing the position of the plunger 7 to be temporarily changed such that the cartridge 9 can be loaded into the syringe body 3.

摘要： A concealed slide fastener top and stop is formed by wrapping around a edge of a fastener tape with a U-shaped piece of synthetic resin and fusing the U-shaped pieces. The U-shaped piece is fused at its open ends through the fastener tape. The fused-through portion is shifted inwardly from a tape folded-in part, to which a row of fastener elements is attached. The fused-through portion is at an angle different from that of the fastener elements.
