Abstract:
A water pollutant processing method to adsorb, oxidize and activate water pollutants includes using an adsorbent with low oxidation number (zeolite), an activator (from industrial wastes, such as BF slags and BOF slags) and a persulfate to process polluted water and underground water. The method includes an integrated processing system including the persulfate, adsorbent with low oxidation number and iron-containing activator. The integrated processing system not only possesses an adsorbing capability, but also an oxidizing capability using transition metal such as iron on the surface of the activator. The system can not only accelerate removal of water pollutants, but also delay movement of the pollutants to further reduce threat of pollutant spreading to downstream. BF and BOF slags are industrial wastes and the present invention also provides a channel for reusing the wastes.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a narrow bandpass filter installed on a circuit board for suppressing a high-frequency harmonic wave, which uses a metal microstrip method to directly build a microstrip circuit corresponding to a narrow bandpass filter on a circuit board of a wireless communication product and uses an interdigital finger method to lay a capacitor microstrip of the microstrip circuit on the circuit board to avoid the capacitor microstrip occupying too much area of the circuit board and maximizes the usable space of the circuit board, so that the wireless communication product can suppress a second or higher harmonic spurious noise of the wireless communication product without using an additional high-frequency filter, and thus can greatly lower the manufacturing cost of the wireless communication product and effectively reduce the electromagnetic interference.
Abstract:
A process for making water-repellent electrode comprises: A. mixing Pt/C catalyst powder with a solvent and ionomer for forming an ionomer-coated catalyst powder; B. mixing carbon fiber, carbon powder with a solvent and a hydrophobic polymer for forming a hydrophobic powder coated with the hydrophobic polymer; and C. homogeneously blending the catalyst powder and the hydrophobic powder in a solvent for forming a suspension, which is then filtered and printed on a carbon paper or carbon cloth by transfer printing, and further dried to obtain a hydrophobic electrode.

Various embodiments of a semiconductor device and related fabrication methods are disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment, the semiconductor device may include a substrate and a plurality of two-dimensional semiconductor films over the substrate, where a photogain of the two-dimensional films is above about 103 when measured at room temperature. In another exemplary embodiment, a semiconductor device may comprise a substrate comprising nanorods or nanodots and a plurality of two-dimensional films disposed on the substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for groundwater remediation using sustained-release persulfate tablets, which is to synthesize the persulfate and cellulose with specific ratio to form a remediated tablet, and the manufacturing process is operated under the specific pressure. In the composition of the tablet, the persulfate is used as an oxidant while the cellulose is used as a coating agent. The compound of the tablet is coated with the cellulose to slow the releasing rate of the compound and improve the releasing time of the persulfate in the water.

A semiconductor device comprises a substrate and quantum dots, wherein a peak emission of the quantum dots has a FWHM of less than 20 meV when the semiconductor is measured at a temperature of 4 Kelvin.
Abstract:
A server, a user device, and a malware detection method thereof are provided. The server connects with the user device via a network, and records execution records of the user device. Based on the history of the execution records of the user device, the server can detect whether the user device has malwares or not accordingly.
Abstract:
A conductive paste includes: at least one metal powder, an organic vehicle, a glass and a surfactant having a representative formula as follows: Mx(R)y(Q)z, wherein M is selected from a metal element and a semiconductive element, R is hydrophilic group directly connected to M and one will be able to hydrolyze by water to form another hydrophilic group, and Q is a hydrophobic group. The hydrophilic functional group of the surfactant will attach on the metal powder surface closely. Therefore, the surfactant can disperse the metal powder in the organic vehicle well and prevent paste from aggregating.

The present invention also relates to a method using a solid—solid reaction to produce pharmaceutical-grade ferric citrate. The present invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of pharmaceutical-grade ferric citrate and a food comprising pharmaceutical-grade ferric citrate.
Abstract:
A method for raising pH value to enhance degradation of chlorinated organics by oxidation may include steps of adding 1% persulfate and 20-100 g slag to 50 mg/L chlorinated organics; and utilizing slag to increase the pH to 12-13, and make persulfate alkali-activated to enhance the degradation of chlorinated organics and prevent heavy metal pollute the soil.
