    摘要: Provided are a steel plate for a refrigerator door and a method for manufacturing the steel plate. The steel plate includes a stainless steel plate provided on and forming an exterior of a refrigerator door with a vertical length of 1250 mm or more. The stainless steel plate surface is processed to form a finished texture oriented in a horizontal direction with respect to the refrigerator door. The method includes cutting a section from a rolled stainless steel plate base material corresponding in length to a length of a refrigerator door, rotating the cut section by a 90° angle, and surface processing through grinding a surface of the cut section in a direction perpendicular to a rolled direction thereof.

    摘要: A method of using a diamond cutting tool for ornamentation purpose is provided. The method includes positioning a work piece in proximity to a cutting tool. The cutting tool includes a shank. Further, the cutting tool may extend longitudinally from the shank and coaxial therewith. The cutting end includes a cutting end comprised of, but not limited to, a compact mass of sharp diamond dust. Further, the method includes activating the cutting tool to perform one of cutting and polishing of at least a portion of the work piece. Herein, activating the cutting tool enables movement of the cutting tool for positioning thereof. Further, activating the cutting tool may enable spinning of the cutting end to perform one of cutting and polishing of a portion of the work piece based on the positioning of the cutting tool.

    摘要: Synthetic shingles are made and treated, such that upper surfaces thereof that are to be weather-exposed in the installed condition, are scuffed, abraded, or scraped in such a manner that different visual appearances occur between abraded zones and unabraded (or lesser abraded) depressions, to enhance the natural-appearing materials that the synthetic shingles are designed to resemble. The shingles and the abrading medium have motion relative to each other. The abrading medium may take on various forms, such as a roller, a brush, a pad, etc. Some portions of the upper surface of the shingle remain unabraded, preferably being those portions that are depressed relative to higher portions of the shingle. The shingle may be of a single layer construction, or a multi-layer laminate.

    摘要: A continuous method of forming a repetitive pattern on a metallized film substrate is disclosed as including the steps of continuously feeding a web of metallized film substrate at a predetermined web speed, selective dry removal of predetermined metallized areas from the metallized film substrate during continuous movement thereof, and collecting metallized dust and flakes removed from the metallized film substrate during the aforementioned dry removal of predetermined metallized areas from the metallized film substrate. Unlike existing wet systems which remove metallized areas from a metallized film substrate, the present invention employs selective dry removal, along with the collection of dust, in a continuous in-line system. Following the selective removal of metallized areas from the metallized film substrate, metallized dust is collected in a closed dust removal system providing removal, transport and collection of the metallized dust in a storage unit.

    摘要: A surface treatment apparatus in the form of an attachment for use with mobile hydraulic equipment which incorporates one or more grinding head. The apparatus incorporates components such as a gimbal and a linkage which further enhance the ability of the grinding head to achieve uniform surface treatment results on uneven surfaces. The linkage may also serve as a lever to prop up the weight of the apparatus on the surface and thereby allowing personnel safe and convenient access to service abrasive tooling bits on the underside of the grinding head. The purpose of such an apparatus is to achieve greater productivity without sacrificing quality of surface treatment finished results when treating a surface.

    摘要: An apparatus for applying a lightly scratched surface to a metal sample comprises a motor, a disk, a frame, a motion guidance unit, and a plurality of springs. The motor may provide a rotational motion to the disk which includes abrasive elements configured to create a plurality of microscopic scratches on the surface of the metal sample. The frame may include a bottom wall with an opening in which the motor is positioned. The motion guidance unit may retain the frame and guide the motion of the motor across the surface of the metal sample. The plurality of springs may couple the motor to the bottom wall of the frame in order to suspend the motor within the opening of the bottom wall and to allow lateral motion of the motor and the disk while the motor is rotating.
