摘要: A direct current (DC) bus voltage from a combined output of a plurality of DC power modules is controlled based on an alternating current (AC) voltage of a power grid. The DC bus voltage tracks the AC grid voltage to provide efficient conversion between the DC power sources and the AC grid, even when the amplitude of the AC grid voltage varies. In one example, a variable reference voltage is generated based on a detected AC grid voltage. The reference voltage increases and decreases in proportion to increases and decreases in the AC grid voltage. In this manner, large differences between the bus voltage and the grid voltage are avoided. By closely tracking the two voltages, efficiency in the modulation index for power conversion can be achieved.

摘要: A load control system for controlling the amount of power delivered from an AC power source to a plurality of electrical load includes a plurality of independent units responsive to a broadcast controller. Each independent unit includes at least one commander and at least one energy controller for controlling at least one of the electrical loads in response to a control signal received from the commander. The independent units are configured and operate independent of each other. The broadcast controller transmits wireless signals to the energy controllers of the independent units. The energy controllers do not respond to control signals received from the commanders of other independent units, but the energy controllers of both independent units respond to the wireless signals transmitted by broadcast controller. The energy controller may operate in different operating modes in response to the wireless signals transmitted by the broadcast controller.

摘要: A system for charging electric vehicles in parking places and garages of multi-family or business buildings. The system allows, via a IoT network-controlled charging unit, to transfer charge between one or more local energy sources and one or more electric vehicles, to which system a charging management methodology is associated. Its design allows not only to meet the needs of time sharing and assignment of resources provided at the installation sites, but also to switch between energy supply networks provided at the installation site in order to increase the availability and the available charging capacity for charging the vehicles.

摘要: Support of coexistence of wireless transmission equipment in shared wireless medium environments is disclosed, which is applicable to various types of wireless transmission equipment. For instance, a wireless power transmission system (WPTS) delivers power to wireless power receiver clients via transmission of wireless power signals using one or more frequencies and/or channels within shared wireless medium environments in which other wireless equipment is operating, such as access points and stations in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The WPTS is configured to co-exist with the operations of the other wireless equipment within the shared wireless medium environment by adapting its transmission operations to utilize frequencies or channels that do not interfere with other equipment and/or implementing co-channel and shared channels operations under which access to channels is implemented using standardized WLAN protocols such as PHY and MAC protocols used for 802.11 (Wi-Fi™) networks.

摘要: A computer-implemented method and system is provided. The system adaptively switches prediction strategies to optimize time-variant energy demand and consumption of built environments associated with renewable energy sources. The system analyzes a first, second, third, fourth and a fifth set of statistical data. The system derives of a set of prediction strategies for controlled and directional execution of analysis and evaluation of a set of predictions for optimum usage and operation of the plurality of energy consuming devices. The system monitors a set of factors corresponding to the set of prediction strategies and switches a prediction strategy from the set of derived prediction strategies. The system predicts a set of predictions for identification of a potential future time-variant energy demand and consumption and predicts a set of predictions. The system manipulates an operational state of the plurality of energy consuming devices and the plurality of energy storage and supply means.

摘要: This disclosure describes techniques that enable a supplemental voltage to be delivered to a Remote Radio Unit (RRU) to compensate for a voltage loss that occurs between a primary Direct Current (DC) power source and the RRU. A supplemental voltage controller is described that captures current environmental metadata associated with an operation of the RRU and calculates an RRU voltage at the RRU. In doing so, the supplemental voltage controller may generate a supplemental voltage control signal that supplements the RRU with a supplemental DC voltage.
