摘要: Embodiments of the present invention include a grafted aqueous carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) binder comprising CMC chemically bonded with a monomer, where the CMC has a weight ratio of water to CMC of from about 99.9:0.1 to about 1,000:500, wherein the monomer is characterized by a weight ratio of monomer to CMC of from about 1:1 to about 1:1,000, and non-woven fabrics and articles including CMC binders, and methods of manufacture of the same. Aspects of the invention include a method of synthesizing a grafted aqueous carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), the method comprising: contacting CMC with water to form a CMC solution. contacting the CMC solution with an initiator; contacting the CMC solution with a monomer to start grafting polymerization reaction between the CMC and a monomer. In some embodiments, the binder and non-woven fabrics including the same are non-toxic and biodegradable.

摘要: Provided is a carpet comprising a textile top member, which includes carpet yarns and a nonwoven primary backing that is coupled with the carpet yarns so that the primary backing structurally supports the carpet yarns. The nonwoven primary backing has a layered configuration of fibers where the average fiber diameters of the fibers in one layer differs from the average fiber diameter in the layer or layers adjacent thereto. The layers are configured to mechanically reinforce and stabilize the carpet yarns. A secondary backing is coupled with the textile top member via a thermoplastic material. The carpet can be a carpet tile or a carpet rug.

摘要: A carbon fiber nonwoven fabric sheet 15 contains discontinuous carbon fibers. The carbon fiber nonwoven fabric sheet 15 is an elongated parallel web 14 in which two or more rectangular fiber webs 10 having carbon fibers oriented substantially in one direction are stacked in the same direction with their end portions shifted from each other. With a method for producing the same, a fiber web is formed by opening discontinuous carbon fibers using a carding machine, and orienting the carbon fibers substantially in one direction, rectangular fiber webs 10 are formed by cutting the fiber web in a width direction or an oblique direction, an elongated parallel web 14 is formed by stacking the rectangular fiber webs 10 on each other with their end portions shifted from each other, and a carbon fiber nonwoven fabric sheet 15 is obtained by cutting both ends of the elongated parallel web 14. A carbon fiber reinforced resin molded body according to the present invention contains the carbon fiber nonwoven fabric sheet and a matrix resin. As a result, the present invention provides a carbon fiber nonwoven fabric sheet that can be used in the same manner as that for a uniaxial sheet constituted of a continuous carbon fiber sheet, a method for producing the same, and a carbon fiber reinforced resin molded body.

摘要: An antibacterial and antiviral degradable mask and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. From outside to inside, the mask sequentially comprises a surface layer (1), a core layer (2), and an inner layer (3) that contacts the face; the surface layer (1) is made of an antibacterial and antiviral cellulose spunlace non-woven fabric; the core layer (2) is made of a polypropylene melt-blown non-woven fabric; the inner layer (3) is made of a polypropylene spunbond non-woven fabric or a degradable natural cotton fabric. The mask can have both antibacterial and antiviral functions; moreover, the material is degradable, and thus, environmental pollution pressure caused by non-degradable petroleum-based fiber materials such as polypropylene can be effectively relieved.

摘要: A drum sealing gasket of a washing and drying machine is disposed on an end of a drum. The drum sealing gasket includes a band-shaped belt manufactured by cutting a felt in which natural fiber and synthetic fiber are mixed. A finishing space is formed by folding both peripheral portions of the belt and sewing the peripheral portions to the body of the belt with an adhesive-coated sewing thread. An extension is formed on one of the folded peripheral portions to cover a portion of the other of the folded peripheral portions. A flexible band is added and sewn to the surface of the extension with an adhesive-coated thread. Both ends of the belt are bound without a height difference.
