摘要: A control device for a hybrid vehicle determines whether an EGR valve has an opening failure, and performs a pre-operation in which the engine is operated at a load smaller than a load in a series mode for a certain period of time while the vehicle is driven by a motor immediately before switching from an EV mode to the series mode. The pre-operation has a normal pre-mode in which the engine is operated at a first load when it is determined that the EGR valve does not have an opening failure, and a small failure pre-mode and a large failure pre-mode in which the engine is operated at a second load larger than the first load when it is determined that the EGR valve has the opening failure.

摘要: An ATS includes an SCR device and is connected to an internal combustion engine so as to receive an exhaust gas flow from at least one cylinder of the internal combustion engine when fuel is injected and combusted in such cylinder; an NH3 storage is increased in such SCR device after an engine shut off command has been detected, such that an increased NH3 storage is ready for a subsequent cold start of the internal combustion engine; the increase of NH3 storage is carried out by injecting a reducing agent in the ATS and by supplying an air flow towards the SCR device; such air flow flows through the cylinder after the fuel injection has been shut off.

摘要: A controller and a control method for an internal combustion engine, and a memory medium are provided. In a first combustion cylinder, first combustion is caused by control circuitry when the engine is restarted from a state where fuel combustion in cylinders is suspended. An automatic stopping process suspends the fuel combustion in the cylinders and controls a throttle valve to a closed state when a predetermined condition is satisfied. A first calculation process calculates an amount of fuel injected into the first combustion cylinder based on a position of the piston in the first combustion cylinder in a case where a rotation speed of a crankshaft obtained when the restart was requested is zero. A second calculation process calculates the injection amount based on the rotation speed in a case where the rotation speed obtained when the restart was requested is higher than zero.

In one embodiment, a method for the engine may include determining if one or more conditions have been met for port heating based on one or more operating conditions of the engine, continuing current operation if the one or more conditions for port heating have not been met, and determining a souping level of the engine if the one or more conditions for port heating have been met and subsequently running port heating on a set of cylinders of the engine based on the souping level of the engine and/or the one or more conditions for port heating. The engine may be a non-EGR engine and/or a high speed diesel engine. Each cylinder of the set of cylinders may have at least one port.

A direct injection mode injects fuel only from a direct injection valve when it is determined that the warm-up in the cylinder is completed. A reduction process sets an increase correction amount of fuel obtained through the increase correction control when executing the direct injection mode to be less than an increase correction amount obtained prior to the execution of the direct injection mode.

摘要: A start-up method of a mild hybrid system determines whether start-up is attempted through an MHSG in accordance with a request for start-up from a driver, compares an engine rpm at the end of cranking with a reference rpm in start-up using the MHSG, determines whether an engine rpm immediately after start-up follows an idle target rpm when the engine rpm at the end of cranking exceeds the reference rpm, checks whether there is an error in a cam angle sensor when poor following in which the engine rpm immediately after start-up does not follow the idle target rpm is generated, forcibly changes an engine state into cranking when the cam angle sensor has an error, and executes an existing backup crank logic that decreases a target rpm of the MHSG and finds out a fuel injection time while performing test injection using a signal from an crank angle sensor.
