Abstract: An image processing device applied to a driving assistance system, which includes: a driving assistance device that detects a relative position of a lane marking with respect to a vehicle and assists a driving of the vehicle based on a detected positional information; and a head-up display device that projects a display image on a projection area arranged on the vehicle to visually recognize a virtual image of the display image, includes: an acquisition device that acquires the positional information; and a generation device that generates the display image including a predetermined display element. The generation device generates the display image to visually recognize the display element at a position associated with the positional information and to visually recognize the display element as a shape inclined toward the vehicle from the lane marking.

Abstract: A display system applied to a vehicle includes a navigation device guiding a route to a destination and a display control device displaying multiple route guidance contents in superimposed manner on a road surface using a head-up display. When the navigation device determines that a first route guidance and a second route guidance included in route guidance information are successive guidance, (i) the navigation device concurrently displays images of the first route guidance and the second route guidance, and (ii) the display control device activates display of a first guidance content that performs the first route guidance, and then activates display of a second guidance content that performs the second route guidance after deactivating the display of the first guidance content.

Abstract: An information presentation apparatus is provided. A light emission device (40) and a HCU (100) are mounted on a vehicle A together with a device having a driving assist function for assisting a driving operation of a driver or taking a wheel. The light emission device is arranged on an instrument panel of the vehicle (A), and displays at least one light emission spot (51) in a linear light emission area (52) arranged to extend in a width direction (WD) of the vehicle. The HCU acquires operation information about the driving assist function, and controls a light emission mode of the light emission spot in the linear light emission area based on the operation information. The HCU switches a reference position, at which the light emission spot is displayed, between a case where the driving assist function is in operation and a case where the driving assist function is not in operation.

Abstract: A travel control apparatus is provided. The travel control apparatus acquires driver abnormality information indicative of an abnormality of a driver of a vehicle, makes a determination that the driver is in a driving difficulty state based at least on the driver abnormality information, and activates a lane departure prevention function and a cruise control function of the vehicle at substantially the same time during a time period between when the driver abnormality information is acquired and when the driving difficulty state is determined. Together with activating the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function, the travel control apparatus outputs notification request information to a human machine interface controller controlling a notification device which issues a notification to a passenger of the vehicle. The notification request information causes the notification indicative of activation of the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function to be issued.

Abstract: A display apparatus for a vehicle includes a virtual image display device, a detection device, and a picture control device. The virtual image display device emits predetermined light to permit a windshield or a combiner to reflect the predetermined light towards an eye of a driver. The emitted predetermined light is to display a picture. The virtual image display device displays the picture in a displayed area as a virtual image; the picture appears ahead of the vehicle. The detection device detects a target that is an obstacle or an intersection. The picture control device displays the picture to appear below the target in the displayed area, and then moves the picture to a position corresponding to the target apparently while decreasing at least a width of the picture.
