Provided is a film and a water stopping tape that realize long-lasting water stopping properties. The film includes an outermost layer containing a water-absorbent polymer having a water absorbency of 5 g/g to 100 g/g that is represented by a ratio of a mass of a sample having been immersed in water for 3 hours to a mass of the sample not yet being immersed in water a permeable layer, and a substrate layer in this order, and the water stopping tape includes the film.

Provided are a functional film that can exhibit high gas barrier properties by forming separate regions and an organic EL device. The functional film includes: a resin layer having impermeability to oxygen in which a plurality of recess portions are formed to be discretely disposed, in which a modulus of elasticity of the resin layer is 0.5 GPa to 10 GPa, and an oxygen permeability of the resin layer is 10 cc/(m2·day·atm) or lower.

The present invention provides a functional film having an optical functional layer that exhibits an optical function and is capable of suppressing deterioration of the optical functional layer, and a method thereof. The functional film includes an optical functional layer, a resin layer which surrounds end surfaces of the optical functional layer, and gas barrier supports between which the optical functional layer and the resin layer are sandwiched, in which an oxygen permeability of the resin layer is 10 cc/(m2·day·atm) or less, and a difference between a thickness of the optical functional layer and the resin layer is within 30%; and a production method including forming a frame-shaped resin layer on a surface of a first gas barrier support, filling the inside of the frame with a polymerizable composition which becomes an optical functional layer, laminating a second gas barrier support on the resin layer, and curing the polymerizable composition.

A method for manufacturing a laminated film and an apparatus for manufacturing a laminated film obtains a laminated film including a cured layer having a uniform thickness at the time of manufacturing a laminated film obtained by sandwiching the cured layer obtained by curing an actinic ray curable-type resin between two sheets of films. Steps include forming a coating film of a coating solution containing an actinic ray curable-type resin on the surface of a first film while continuously transporting the first film, laminating a second film on the coating film while continuously transporting the second film, and forming a cured layer of the coating film by irradiating the coating film with an actinic ray while continuously transporting the coating film by sandwiching the coating film between the first film and the second film, in a state where the first film is being wound around a backup roller.

The present invention provides a laminated film which has an optically functional layer such as a quantum dot layer and can prevent the optically functional layer from deteriorating due to oxygen or the like. The laminated film is provided with a laminate, in which a gas barrier layer is laminated on at least one surface of the optically functional layer, and a resin layer which covers an end face of the laminate, is formed of a composition containing a compound having at least one polymerizable functional group selected from a (meth)acryloyl group, a vinyl group, a glycidyl group, an oxetane group, and an alicyclic epoxy group in an amount of equal to or greater than 5 parts by mass provided that a total amount of solid contents of the composition is 100 parts by mass, and has an oxygen permeability of equal to or lower than 10 cc/(m2·day·atm).
