    摘要: Systems and methods for enhanced hot melt liquid dispensing system management are disclosed. In an example method for determining an operating instruction for a hot melt liquid dispensing system having an applicator and a heater, the operating instruction is determined based on a filtered applicator parameter value associated with gun cycle counts of the applicator and a filtered heater parameter value associated with duty cycle values of the heater. The filtered applicator parameter value is determined based on historic applicator parameter values that are updated according to a current applicator parameter value. The filtered heater parameter value is determined based on historic heater parameter values that are updated according to a current heater parameter value.

    摘要: An improvement to surface marking devices for pumping and circulating melted thermoplastic material to various surfaces including roads, parking lots and the like is provided. The pump for melted thermoplastic is comprised of a cold section and a hot section. The hot section is connected to a fluid or electric motor, or alternatively, an internal combustion engine for providing rotation to the pump. The connection to provide rotation to the hot section is through the cold section, which is spaced away from the hot section and connected with shafting to provide rotation to the hot section. A heating jacket is secured to the hot section for transferring heat from an external source to the hot section. The spacing between the hot and cold sections provides the ability to rebuild the hot section of the pump without removal from the cold section and without removal from the vehicle to which it is attached.

The fluid supply unit includes inlet lines 85 and 86 through which the fluid is introduced; a first manifold 87 located above the upper end portion of the heat exchangers and connected with the inlet lines; a gas exhaust line 88 that is connected to the first manifold and exhausts a gas mixed in the fluid; a supply line 89 that supplies the fluid from the first manifold. While passing through the heat exchangers from the lower portions toward the upper portions thereof, the fluid is heated or cooled.

    摘要: A feed assembly for a melter includes a funnel, an inlet into the funnel, and a fan baffle situated atop the funnel. The funnel is oriented along a vertical axis, and has a funnel surface that narrows towards an outlet into the melter. The inlet is angled tangent to and downward towards the funnel surface to inject meltable pellets onto the funnel surface in a vortex pattern. The fan baffle is situated atop the funnel, and has a plurality of blades angled to oppose the vortex pattern so as to permit airflow but redirect the meltable pellets from the inlet towards the funnel surface.

    摘要: A device for melting adhesive having a melting grill that has a multiplicity of passage openings, and heating elements, wherein the melting grill is heatable by the heating elements and melted adhesive heated by the hot melting grill is dischargeable through the passage openings, the melting grill on that side thereof that faces the adhesive to be melted having ribs. The melting grill has rotatable rods that are disposed beside one another and ribs that are disposed on the rods, the rods and the ribs being heatable by the heating elements, wherein ribs of adjacent rods are aligned so as to be directed toward one another, and the passage cross sections of the passage openings between the rods are modifiable by rotating rods of the melting grill. The device enables varied forms of delivery of solid adhesive to be melted at a high specific melting rate without the adhesive thereby being subjected to damage due to excessive thermal stress.
