摘要: Methods and systems for disabling a fuel shut-off state of a vehicle. One method includes counting, by a controller, a number of transitions of an engine included in the vehicle between a fuel shut-off state and a fuel state, determining, by the controller, whether the number exceeds a predetermined threshold, and issuing a disable command, by the controller, to the engine included in the vehicle. The disable command causes the engine to exit a current fuel shut-off state. Another system includes a controller configured to determine whether acceleration is requested while an engine included in the vehicle is in a fuel shut-off state. When acceleration is requested while the vehicle is in a fuel shut-off state, the controller is configured to issue a disable command to the engine prior to issuing an acceleration command. The disable command causes the engine to exit the fuel shut-off state.

摘要: A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine according to the present invention includes: a turbocharger having a turbine disposed in an exhaust path and a compressor disposed in an intake path; a waste gate valve that opens and closes a bypass channel that connects a part of the exhaust path upstream of the turbine and a part of the exhaust path downstream of the turbine to each other; a drive mechanism that drives the waste gate valve; and waste gate valve opening controlling means that controls the drive mechanism so that the opening of the waste gate valve agrees with a saturation minimum opening when the drive mechanism opens the waste gate valve, the saturation minimum opening being the minimum opening at which the flow rate of an exhaust gas passing through the bypass channel is saturated.

There is deemed to be a power train oscillation if for a predetermined number of times the amplitude of the vibration change S is alternately above a positive threshold value Th1 and below a negative threshold value Th2 and if all of the consecutive upward crossings of the positive threshold value Th1 and downward crossings of the negative threshold value Th2 are separated by a time shorter than a predetermined period T.

摘要: A control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of directly and properly calculating the most fuel-efficient torque according to operating conditions of the engine without setting or learning in advance operating lines indicative of the most fuel-efficient torques, thereby making it possible to reduce costs and enhance fuel economy. In the control system, when the engine is operated at a predetermined reference rotational speed, a plurality of fuel consumption ratio parameters associated with a plurality of estimated torques are calculated based on a provisional intake air amount-estimated torque relationship which is the relationship between provisional intake air amounts and estimated torques to be obtained when the provisional intake air amounts of intake air are supplied. Further, an estimated torque associated with a minimum value of the fuel consumption ratio parameters is calculated as the most fuel-efficient torque at the reference rotational speed.

The method includes operating the engine using a first fuel injection pattern and timing to inject fuel into a combustion chamber of the engine. The method further includes receiving a request for an increased engine power output and operating the engine using a second fuel injection pattern and timing to inject more fuel into the combustion in response to the request for the increased power output, where the second fuel injection pattern and timing is configured to minimize soot emissions during enriched fuel operations, such as during transient operations.

摘要: A vehicle control system includes: an acceleration acquisition unit that detects or estimates an acceleration of a vehicle; and a control unit that is configured to change a running characteristic, which includes at least any one of a driving force characteristic, shift characteristic, steering characteristic and suspension characteristic of the vehicle, on the basis of the acceleration, wherein the control unit is configured to relatively delay a change of the running characteristic for decreasing quickness of behavior of the vehicle with respect to a change of the running characteristic for increasing quickness of behavior of the vehicle, and is configured to limit a change of the running characteristic when a jerk, which is a time differential value of the acceleration, is larger than a limit determination threshold as compared with when the jerk is smaller than or equal to the limit determination threshold.
