摘要: Disclosed is an auto injector for administering a medicament. The auto injector comprising: a housing; a cartridge receiver configured to receive a cartridge assembly comprising a cartridge and a cartridge code feature, the cartridge containing the medicament; a code sensor configured to read the cartridge code feature; a drive module coupled to move a plunger rod; and a processing unit coupled to the code sensor and the drive module. The processing unit being configured to: receive from the code sensor a code signal indicative of the cartridge code feature; control the drive module to move the plunger rod to a first plunger rod position, the first plunger rod position being based on the code signal; receive a trigger event; control the drive module to move the plunger rod to a second plunger rod position following reception of the trigger event.

摘要: A syringe for use with a medical injector system includes a barrel and a semi-rigid hub, the hub having an outer surface adapted to slidingly move within the barrel, and an inner surface having a continous circumferential wall. The hub further includes an annular engaging portion recessed within at least part of the continous circumferential wall forming a groove, at least one radially extendable and retractable retention member disposed at partially within a proximal cylindrical portion of the hub, and the elastometric seal engaged with a seal engaging portion on the hub and slidingly engaged with the barrel of the syringe. The semi-rigid hub and the elastomeric seal are reciprocally slidable within the barrel, and the at least one radially entendable and retractable retention member is configured to releasably engage the groove upon retraction of the plunger to permit the semi-rigid hub to be selectively withdrawn within the barrel.

摘要: Methods for operating an injection device that is mated to a mobile device are disclosed. Methods include sensing movements of the injection device and enabling inputs on the mobile device based on the movements of the injection device. Methods also include receiving desired injection parameter values into the mobile device, transmitting signals indicative of injection parameters from the mobile device to the injection device, activating injection of medicament with the injection device in accordance with the signals received from the mobile device, and obtaining data regarding the administered injection from the injection device.

摘要: The pharmaceutical injection device includes a pharmaceutical syringe mounting portion (3) provided within a main body case (2) and to which a pharmaceutical syringe (4) is removably mounted, a piston (5) provided movably with respect to the pharmaceutical syringe (4) mounted to the pharmaceutical syringe mounting portion (3), a drive mechanism (6) for driving the piston (5), a controller (7) that is electrically connected to the drive mechanism (6), a display section (35) that is connected to the controller (7), and an encoder (26) that is connected to the controller (7) and detects the amount of the pharmaceutical remaining inside the pharmaceutical syringe (4). The controller (7) displays a warning on the display section (35) recommending removal of the pharmaceutical syringe (4) from the pharmaceutical syringe mounting portion (3) when the presence of a pharmaceutical is detected by the encoder (26).

摘要: A hand-held remote for a medical fluid injector includes a syringe and a conduit which may be coupled to a pressure transducer on a control circuit of the injector. Movement of a plunger within a syringe body on the syringe creates a pressure which is sensed by the pressure transducer and the control circuit responds to the sensed pressure by causing fluid to be ejected from, or drawn into, a syringe mounted to the injector. The pressure developed by the remote provides tactile feedback to an operator for improved control over injections.
