Provided is a semiconductor device. The semiconductor device may include a substrate and a stacked insulation layer on a sidewall of an opening which penetrates the substrate. The stacked insulation layer can include at least one first insulation layer and at least one second insulation layer whose dielectric constant is different than that of the first insulation layer. One insulation layer may be a polymer and one insulation layer may be a silicon based insulation layer. The insulation layers may be uniform in thickness or may vary as a distance from the substrate changes.

There are provided an apparatus and method for controlling a fan motor. The apparatus for controlling a fan motor includes: a signal generating unit generating a pulse width modulation (PWM) input signal having a predetermined duty value; a memory storing duty correction values according to the duty value of the PWM input signal and driving characteristics of the fan motor therein; and a signal controlling unit generating a PWM output signal for operating the fan motor by using the PWM input signal and the duty correction values stored in the memory.

A method for manufacturing a gallium nitride (GaN) wafer is provided. In the method for manufacturing the GaN wafer according to an embodiment, an etch stop layer is formed on a substrate, and a first GaN layer is formed on the etch stop layer. A portion of the first GaN layer is etched with a silane gas, and a second GaN layer is formed on the etched first GaN layer. A third GaN layer is formed on the second GaN layer.

A method of manufacturing a unit cell of a solid oxide fuel cell using a decalcomania process, in which an anode, electrolyte, cathode and interconnect are deposited on a substrate using the decalcomania process when the unit cell of the solid oxide fuel cell having a variety of shapes, such as a planar type, a horizontal pipe type, a tubular type, a segmented type, and the like, is manufactured. In manufacture of solid oxide fuel cells having a variety of shapes according to lamination and arrangement of unit cells, the components of each unit cell, such as the anode, the cathode, the electrolyte, the interconnect, and the like, may be deposited in a desired shape using the decalcomania process through deposition or coating, so that the components of the unit cell having a large scale or a complicated structure can be deposited without limit in size and shape, the thickness of the components of the unit cell can be easily controlled depending on the number of stacked transfer paper sheets, and a coating film can be formed on a substrate at a lower cost.
