Abstract: The thermally conductive sheet includes a sheet-like formed body produced by curing a mixed composition containing an uncured polymer matrix, a flat graphite powder, and a thermally conductive filler having an aspect ratio of 2 or less, flat surfaces of particles of the flat graphite powder being aligned in a thickness direction of the sheet. The thermally conductive sheet contains the thermally conductive filler together with the flat graphite powder and thus contains the thermally conductive material densely charged and has good flexibility and good tackiness on the surfaces of the sheet.

Abstract: Provided herein is a structure having desirable heat dissipation, particularly a structure having high far-infrared emissivity. An electronic component including such a structure, and an electronic device including the electronic component are also provided. The structure includes a water-based coating material containing inorganic fillers that include a first filler and a second filler. The first filler is an oxide containing at least two elements selected from the group consisting of aluminum, magnesium, and silicon, and has a specific surface area of 7 m2/g to 50 m2/g, and a hydrophobic group on a filler surface. The second filler has a head conductivity of 30 W/m·K or more.

Abstract: There is provided a multilayer porous film that includes a covering layer formed from a coating liquid on at least one surface of a porous film. The coating liquid has high stability and coatability. The covering layer does not decrease the intrinsic high air permeability of the porous film and has high heat resistance and adhesiveness. The multilayer porous film has excellent handleability as a battery separator without causing curling. The multilayer porous film includes the covering layer on at least one surface of a porous polyolefin resin film. The covering layer is formed from a coating liquid and contains a filler and a resin binder. The multilayer porous film satisfies the following conditions 1) and 2): 1) the filler has an average circularity of 0.3 or more and less than 0.7; and 2) an acid component in the coating liquid has a first acid dissociation constant of 5 or less and has no second acid dissociation constant or a second acid dissociation constant of 7 or more in a dilute aqueous solution at 25° C.

Abstract: The calcium carbonate filler for a resin is provided in which a volatile component such as water present in a surface of calcium carbonate is likely to be degassed even when the filler is incorporated into and kneaded with a resin having high processing temperature at a high concentration, and foaming or the like can be suppressed. In particular, the calcium carbonate filler is useful in optical fields that require reflectivity and light resistance.The calcium carbonate filler for a resin has a content rate of particles having a particle diameter of 0.26 μm or less is 30% or less in a number particle size distribution diameter measured from an electron micrograph, and satisfies the following expressions (a) Dms5/Dmv5≦3.0, (b) 1.0≦Sw≦10.0 (m2/g) and (c) Dma≦5.0 (% by volume): Dms5: a 5% diameter (μm) accumulated from a small particle side in a volume particle size distribution measured with a laser diffraction particle size distribution measurement device; Dmv5: a 5% diameter (μm) accumulated from a small particle side in a number particle size distribution in a particle diameter measured with an electron microscope; Sw: a BET specific surface area (m2/g); and Dma: a content rate (% by volume) of particles having a particle diameter of 3 μm or more in a volume particle size distribution measured with a laser diffraction particle size distribution measurement device.
