摘要: In a semiconductor memory device of the present, due to a heavily doped region formed on the semiconductor substrate, the depletion layer does not spread deeply toward the interior of the semiconductor substrate. In addition, a capacitor is formed by the heavily doped region, an insulating film formed on this region and a semiconductor layer formed on this insulating film. As a result, variation of capacitance of the capacitor due to .alpha.-ray particles is low. Furthermore, information is stored in the semiconductor layer which is formed above the semiconductor substrate so that the occurrence of a soft error is minimized.

摘要: To perform preheating on a recording medium before transfer with an inexpensive configuration to reduce a transfer failure due to a change in temperature of a transfer film and further reduce thermal damage to the transfer film, in a transfer apparatus for nipping a transfer film and recording medium with a transfer roller and transfer platen, preheating treatment of the recording medium is performed by heat of the transfer roller before transfer processing. When the preheating treatment is performed using the transfer roller, the transfer film exists between the transport roller and the recording medium, and by shifting the position of the transfer film during the preheating treatment, it is possible to suppress thermal damage to the transfer film without applying heat of the transfer roller to only a part of the transfer film excessively.

摘要: Provided is an oil/fat composition comprising 10.1 to 94.9 wt. % of a triglyceride, 0.1 to 30 wt. % of a monoglyceride and 5 to 59.9 wt. % of a diglyceride which has, as a fatty acid constituent thereof, 15 to 90 wt. % of an ω3-unsaturated fatty acid having less than 20 carbon atoms. The oil/fat composition of the present invention has excellent heat stability, has body-fat-accumulation resisting action, visceral-fat-accumulation resisting action, blood-sugar-level lowering action, insulin resistance improving action and leptin lowering action and is useful for, as well as pharmaceuticals, preventive or remedial food for diabetes or obesity, and feed.

摘要: An image reading apparatus is formed of a transfer unit and an image reading unit. The transfer unit includes a transfer belt disposed along a contact glass held vertically for transferring a document or photograph to a reading position; a first suction portion for allowing the photograph to be sucked onto the belt; and a second suction portion for sucking the photograph at an upstream side of the first suction portion in a transfer direction. The first and second suction portions hold the photograph at a reading position apart from the contact glass by a predetermined distance.

摘要: An image sensor includes charge storage regions which gradually store charges corresponding to the amount of light received, a plurality of image transfer elements which gradually transfer the charges, and transfer gates which transfer the charges in the charge storage regions to the charge transfer elements. The image sensor provides further a device which changes an electric potential of an electrode of the charge storage regions in accordance with the amount stored of the charges, and a device which detects the electric potential of the electrode and outputs the detected electric potential as a switchover timing control signal of the transfer gates.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling movement of a throttle valve in response to a change in the position of an accelerator pedal. The apparatus includes a control circuit powered from a power source through an ignition switch for determining a value corresponding to a setting of the position of the throttle valve. A throttle actuator is connected to the control circuit for moving the throttle valve to the determined setting. A device is provided to retain the control circuit powered from the power source until the throttle actuator returns the throttle valve to its closed position after the ignition switch is turned off.

The sheet pressing member pairs 70 press the folded sheet bundle with the intervals therebetween in the respective rows reduced stepwise in the moving direction of the moving member 56.

摘要: An adhesive application device that applies an adhesive onto each of sequentially conveyed paper sheets, includes: a device frame; a bonding member that delivers the adhesive for bonding the paper sheets to each other; a plurality of bonding units that is arranged in a sheet width direction and each has the bonding member; a support member that supports the bonding units on the device frame so as to be movable between a bonding position at which each bonding unit presses its bonding member to apply the adhesive onto the paper sheet and a separated position separated from the bonding position; and a moving member that moves the plurality of bonding units to the bonding position with timing shifted. Thus, it is possible to move the bonding units with a smaller drive force than in a case where the bonding units are moved simultaneously.
