摘要: Provided is an electric motor including a permanent magnet rotor and two sets of multi-phase windings serving as coil windings of a stator. The coil windings are wound around teeth by concentrated winding. The multi-phase windings of one of the two sets are wound around every other tooth by skipping one tooth in between. The multi-phase windings of another of the two sets are wound around the teeth skipped by the multi-phase windings of the one set. Adjacent coil windings of the two sets are wound in the same direction. A control unit configured to supply power to the coil windings includes control circuits independent of each other to provide one control circuit for each of the two sets of coil windings, and the control unit controls the control circuits with two sets of control signals having a phase difference of 150 degrees.

摘要: A semiconductor module forming a semiconductor device includes lead frames in which switching elements are mounted on the side of upper surfaces and heat radiation surfaces are formed on the side of lower surfaces, and bus bars disposed on the lead frames and connecting between plural switching elements. The heat radiation surfaces of the lead frames are arranged on one plane and upper surfaces of flat surface portions of the bus bars are arranged on one plane, therefore, a layout property on the heat radiation surfaces or the upper surfaces the flat surface portions is good, which facilitates creation of a heat radiation structure and so on.

When detecting, control unit 5 outputs a voltage command to faulty voltage application unit 3, 4 to set voltages of respective phases of the three-phase windings at a negative electrode side potential V− of DC power supply 2, and when detecting a power short fault, control unit 5 outputs a voltage command to set the voltages of the respective phases of the three-phase windings at a positive electrode side potential V+ of DC power supply 2.
