    摘要: Provided is a pressure vessel having a vessel main body and a partition wall. The vessel main body is provided with a top wall, a bottom wall, and a peripheral wall. The top wall is provided with: a top-wall main body; a top-wall protruded part having a shape which protrudes externally from an outer surface of the top-wall main body; top-wall first-chamber-side ribs; and top-wall second-chamber-side ribs. The bottom wall is provided with: a bottom-wall main body; a bottom-wall protruded part having a shape which protrudes externally from an outer surface of the bottom-wall main body; bottom-wall first-chamber-side ribs; and bottom-wall second-chamber-side ribs. The top-wall first-chamber-side ribs and the top-wall second-chamber-side ribs each have a shape which connects with the top-wall protruded part. The bottom-wall first-chamber-side ribs and the bottom-wall second-chamber-side ribs each have a shape which connects with the bottom-wall protruded part.

    摘要: A pressure vessel for receiving at least one fluid medium has a first shell (1) and a second shell (3) at least partially encompassing the first shell (1). The first shell (1) has, at least at one of its ends, a collar portion (5) having a securing element (15) that forms an opening (13) for supplying and discharging the medium. A support element (19) in the form of a split ring surrounds the opening (13), is provided inside the container and has a contact surface (39) adapted to the curved shape of the first shell (1) inner side attached to the collar portion (5). The contact surface is able to be pressed onto the first shell inner side attached to the collar portion (5). The contact surface is able to be pressed onto the first shell (1) using a pressing device (43, 45).

    摘要: A tank and associated fabrication method are provided which may limit the damage otherwise occasioned by the impact of a ballistic projectile. The tank may include a wall assembly defined between outer and inner walls and a plurality of restraining elements that extend between the walls. The restraining elements may be formed to have a plurality of layers of material that form not only the restraining element, but also portions of the inner and/or outer walls. For example, the tank may include a plurality of cells positioned adjacent to one another with each cell forming portions of two adjacent restraining elements and portions of the inner and/or outer walls. A corresponding method for fabricating a tank including a wall assembly having a plurality of restraining elements is also provided.

In another aspect, a pressure vessel includes an outer shell, and inner liner and a boss including a flange with an exterior side and an interior side. The liner is mechanically integrated with the flange via a plurality of anchors, each anchor contacting the flange only on the interior side. A method of forming a pressure vessel includes providing a boss having a flange. The flange has an interior keyway having an inner sidewall and a plurality of bores disposed on the inner sidewall. The method comprises allowing a fluid polymer material to flow into the interior keyway and into the plurality of bores.

The pressure vessel can be packaged in containers for modular use, with one or more containers being shaped to receive a portion of the reinforced continuous liner folded along one or more of the intermediate sections.
