摘要: A battery cell includes an outer housing having a top end and a bottom end, a cell body mounted inside the outer housing with a gap present between an outer wall of the cell body and an inner wall of the outer housing, an upper cover covering the top end and provided with an electrolyte injection hole and a degassing hole that are both in communication with the gap, and a conduit. One end of the conduit is connected to the electrolyte injection hole, and another end of the conduit extends into the gap and toward the bottom end.

摘要: A battery pack includes a battery module housing configured to receive a plurality of battery cells, a battery pack case configured to receive one or more battery module housings, a water tank located above the battery module housings, and a heat sink located under the battery module housings. The battery module housing is configured to wrap the plurality of battery cells. In a battery pack including a plurality of battery modules, it is possible to prevent thermal spread between adjacent battery modules when fire breaks out in a battery cell.

摘要: A battery includes a shell having an inner cavity; a wound core assembled in the inner cavity of the shell; a column supported in the wound core, wherein the column includes a first cavity for storing a lithium-replenishing medium and a second cavity for storing a fire-fighting medium, a cavity wall of the first cavity having a first hole, and a cavity wall of the second cavity having a second hole; a first membrane configured to block the first hole, and configured to break when subjected to a first pressure, allowing the lithium-replenishing medium in the first cavity to flow into the inner cavity; and a second membrane configured to block the second hole, and configured to break when subjected to a second pressure, allowing the fire-fighting medium in the second cavity to flow into the inner cavity, the second pressure being greater than the first pressure.

摘要: Some embodiments of this application provide a battery cell, a battery, an electrical device, and a method and equipment for manufacturing a battery cell. The battery cell includes: a shell, where the shell includes an accommodation cavity and a first wall, and an injection port is created on the first wall; an electrode assembly, accommodated in the accommodation cavity; and a flow guide, disposed between the first wall and the electrode assembly. The flow guide includes a liquid collection tank. An opening of the liquid collection tank is oriented toward the first wall. A through-hole is created on a bottom wall of the liquid collection tank. The liquid collection tank is configured to collect an electrolyte solution injected through the injection port. The electrolyte solution in the liquid collection tank flows to the electrode assembly through the through-hole.

摘要: Systems for suppressing adverse exothermic reactions in an energy storage container. One energy storage system includes a container configured to support a plurality of battery cells; a plurality of battery cells disposed inside and supported by the container; an agent supply port attached to the container; and a tube disposed inside the container and having a closed end and an open end. The open end of the tube is in fluid communication with the agent supply port. The tube comprises fusible portions which are designed to melt or soften at a temperature which is lower than the melting or softening temperature of another portion of the tube. In response to melting or softening of the fusible portions of the tube, pressurized exothermic reaction-suppressing agent is distributed inside the container via the tube.

摘要: Provided are a centrifugal battery liquid injection mechanism and a liquid injection method thereof. The centrifugal battery liquid injection mechanism comprises a liquid injection device and a driving device, the liquid injection device is provided with a piston mechanism and a liquid outlet head capable of being opened and closed, and one end of the liquid injection device close to the liquid outlet head is further provided with a liquid injection port capable of being opened and closed; and the liquid injection port is used for injecting a wetting liquid into the liquid injection device. The liquid injection device is connected with a to-be-wetted device through the liquid outlet head, so as to inject the wetting liquid into the to-be-wetted device. The driving device is connected with the to-be-wetted device for driving the to-be-wetted device to move.

摘要: A battery cell includes: a housing having a prismatic shape with a venting side and a terminal side that is different from the venting side; an electrode assembly inside the housing; a terminal arranged on the terminal side; and a venting valve on the venting side. The venting valve is configured to switch between a closed state and an open state. The venting valve, when in the open state, forms a vent opening in the venting side of the housing, and the vent opening is at least 15% of the total area of the venting side.
