    Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed to a cloud-native approach to software license enforcement in a container orchestration system. According to an example, information indicative of a number of sets of containers that are making use of one or more components of an application is received. The application is licensed by the tenant and the sets of containers are running within a namespace of the tenant within a cluster of a container orchestration system. Overuse of the application by the tenant is determined based on whether the number exceeds a licensing constraint for the application specified within an Application Programming Interface (API) object of the container orchestration system corresponding to the application. Responsive to a determination that the application is being overused by the tenant, the tenant is caused to be notified regarding the overuse.

    Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a method and a system for removing the common-mode current. The receiver includes a photodetector, a common-mode adjustment circuit, an analog front-end, an eye scan circuit, and a control unit. The photodetector generates an input photocurrent responsive to a received optical signal. The common-mode adjustment circuit generates an adjusted input current based on the input photocurrent. The analog front-end generates a differential voltage based on the adjusted input current. Based on the differential voltage, the eye scan circuit generates an eye scan information defining a first outer eye and a second outer eye in an eye diagram. The control unit tunes the common-mode adjustment circuit based on a relative height metric of a first height of the first outer eye and a second height of the second outer eye to remove a portion of the common-mode current from the input photocurrent.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for multiple basic service set identifier (MBSSID) beaconing (from an access point (AP) standpoint) and MBSSID/virtual AP (VAP) scanning (from a client device perspective). To facilitate easier discovery of mesh APs/VAPs, BSSIDs associated with mesh VAPs can be advertised more frequently, e.g., being broadcast as a transmitted or non-transmitted BSSID in each MBSSID beacon. Additionally, information regarding mesh VAPs, such as mesh capability information, can be provided via intermediate discovery beacons or frames such that out-of-band scanning mechanisms can discover mesh VAPs faster. Additionally still, the existence of mesh VAPs can be advertised in a dedicated field of an MBSSID beacon.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for seamless roaming in a network. First, a client device is authenticated at a first access point of the network. Next, a processor selectively determines, among remaining access points in the network, second access points at which respective precursor keys, such as Pairwise Master Keys R1 (PMK-R1s) are to be computed. The second access points are determined based on any of respective path losses from the first access point to the second access points and respective historical frequencies at which the client device associates at the respective remaining access points. For the second access points, the respective PMK-R1s are computed and transmitted to the second access points to be cached. Next, following a request from the client device to reassociate to a second access point of the second access points, the client device is authenticated at the second access point based on a corresponding PMK-R1.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for handling an event message in a communications system. The method comprises receiving the event message and processing the event message using a pre-processing module of the communications system to determine if the event message is relevant for a management module of the communications system. Responsive to determining that the event message is relevant, the event message is tagged to generate a tagged event message, and the tagged event message is transmitted to the management module. Tagging the event comprises adding, to the event message, a model or pipeline label identifying a model or pipeline applied to the event message by the pre-processing module, a status identifier indicating a status of the event message following a process or set of processes performed by the model or pipeline, and an input identifier for identifying features or variables of the event message that were used as inputs to the model or pipeline.
