摘要: A display section of a scanner is connected to a printer controller of a printer via a bus line, so that detailed information regarding the scanner the printer and so on is controlled by the printer controller. Both display contents respectively regarding the printer or the scanner are stored in a VRAM of the printer controller. Because of this, the detailed information regarding the printer is displayed on the display section of the scanner, which is a large LCD. This provides an image forming system, which notifies a user of the detailed information of the printer in a such manner that the user can easily understand the detailed information, when the scanner and the printer, each of which can be used independently, are combined as a system.

摘要: To provide a simple structured and low cost pintle injector capable of uniformly atomizing and mixing fuel and oxidizer, and further improving the combustion efficiency of the combustion reaction in the combustion chamber. A pintle injector part having a first propellant channel forms a first injector flow path as a regenerative cooling path along the pintle external wall that projects into a combustion chamber, and high temperature fuel gas is injected from the first pintle injector port. On the other hand, an axial injector part is located upstream of the first pintle injector port, and injects comparatively low temperature liquid or gas fuel from an axial injector port via a third propellant channel and a third injector flow path. Oxidizer is injected from a second pintle injector port via a second propellant channel and a second injector flow path, and is atomized and mixed while being impinged on either by the high temperature fuel gas and the comparatively low temperature liquid or gas fuel. The fuel injected from the first pintle injector port and the fuel injected from the axial injector port may be the same type or a different type of fuel.

摘要: A gas processing device that improves the properties of gas passing through a gas passage of an apparatus and is easily installed on the gas passage of the apparatus. The gas processing device is provided with an electron vibration generating body including a main body having a large electric conductivity. The electron vibration generating body is vibrated when irradiated with light. An electric conductor is arranged between the electron vibration generating body and the gas passage for transmitting vibration of the electron vibration generating body to the gas passage.

摘要: Adhesiveness between the tread member and a tire frame member is raised whilst reducing the volume of a tread member and decreasing rolling resistance.Air holes (18) are formed penetrating through to an opposite side from a ground contact face (12) at bottom portions (16A) of lateral main grooves (16) (grooves) of a tread member (10), such that air between the tread member (10) and a tire frame member (24) is expelled smoothly into the lateral main grooves (16) (grooves) through the air holes (18) when adhering the tread member (10) to the tire frame member (24). This is particularly effective when a gauge (G) at the bottom portions (16A) of the lateral main grooves (16) (grooves) is made thin in order to reduce the volume of the tread member (10).

摘要: Systems and methods for controlling the sensing of an occupant in a seating area are provided. The occupant is characterized as one of an adult, child or other category. One characterization change parameter, such as a hysteresis time period or thresholds for characterization, is applied for a first time period. After that time period, the characterization change parameter is changed. For example, if the characterization stays the same for ten seconds, the hysteresis is changed from five to ten seconds. As another example, if the characterization stays the same for one minute, the thresholds associated with that characterization are broadened to decrease the likelihood of a change in characterization. In some systems and methods, a confidence parameter or probability associated with the characterization is used to control the changes of the characterization change parameter. In some systems and methods, the characterization change parameter is reset in response to one of (a) a no occupant characterization or (b) characterizing the occupant as a different one of the at least two categories consecutively for a current hysteresis time period.
