摘要: A computing device includes an array of processing elements mutually connected to perform single instruction multiple data (SIMD) operations, memory cells connected to each processing element to store data related to the SIMD operations, and a cache connected to each processing element to cache data related to the SIMD operations. Caches of adjacent processing elements are connected. The same or another computing device includes rows of mutually connected processing elements to share data. The computing device further includes a row arithmetic logic unit (ALU) at each row of processing elements. The row ALU of a respective row is configured to perform an operation with processing elements of the respective row.

摘要: Systems and methods for peer data storage device messaging over a control bus for power management are disclosed. Storage devices may include a host interface configured to connect to a host system and a control bus interface to connect to a control bus. Peer data storage devices may establish peer communication through the control bus interface, determine a power state, receive a power change indicator from a peer data storage device, and initiate a change in their power state. The peer data storage devices may manage their collective power as a power pool and increase or decrease power use without host intervention.

The power supply control device has relationship information indicating a relationship among a discharge current flowing from the power supply device to the load, a discharge current ratio that is a ratio of output currents of the plurality of power supply units, and a power loss of the power supply device, acquires a measured value of the discharge current, obtains, from the relationship information, the discharge current ratio at which the power loss of the power supply device corresponding to the acquired measured value of the discharge current is minimized, and adjusts the discharge current ratio so as to match with the discharge current ratio obtained from the relationship information.

摘要: An electronic device may include a printed circuit with a surface-mounted component. The component may produce resistive heating within the printed circuit. Resistive thermal devices (RTDs) may be embedded within the printed circuit. An RTD may at least partially overlap the electrical component. The RTD may include contact pads on a flexible substrate and a meandering conductive trace between the contact pads. The trace may have a resistance varying linearly as a function of temperature. A data acquisition system (DAQ) may measure the resistance of the RTD. Control circuitry may identify the temperature of the printed circuit based on the resistance of the RTD measured by the DAQ and may reduce power consumption by the component when the temperature exceeds a threshold. This may serve to prevent overheating in the printed circuit over time, thereby maximizing the operating life of the printed circuit.

摘要: There are provided a sensor data collection device, a sensor data collection system, and a method of collecting sensor data capable of reducing a drain of a battery due to standby power. The sensor data collection device includes a power supply, a power supply control circuit configured to control the power supply, a sensor configured to perform sensing to thereby obtain data, a memory configured to store the data obtained by the sensor, and a control circuit configured to control the power supply control circuit, the sensor, and the memory. The power supply control circuit supplies the sensor, the memory, and the control circuit with electrical power supplied by the power supply, and the control circuit makes the transition to any one of a plurality of operating states, and makes the power supply control circuit shut off the electrical power supplied by the power supply after a first operating state is completed and before the transition to a second operating state is made wherein the first operating state and the second operating state are included in the plurality of operating states.

The power circuit group includes multiple power circuits arranged in a tree-like structure. The resources of the multiple power circuits are mapped to corresponding addresses within a common address space. The host device sends, via a first communication bus, commands to a branch power circuit of the multiple power circuits, which, in turn, relays the commands, using a second communication bus, to corresponding ones of the other power circuits based on respective power resources specified in the commands received from the host device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for shallow hibernate power state are described. A memory system may include a memory array and a controller. The memory system may transition from a first power state having a first current to a second power state having a second current less than the first current, where the first power state is associated with executing received commands and the second power state is associated with deactivating one or more components of the memory array. The memory system may initiate a timer after transitioning from the first power state to the second power state. The memory system may determine the timer satisfies a threshold and transition from the second power state to a third power state having a third current less than the second current based on the timer satisfying the threshold.
