    摘要: In a memory cell array having a plurality of memory cells connected to store physical information levels different in adjoining pairs of complementary data lines, those pairs of the memory cells, with which are connected the memory cells for storing the physical information levels in an identical pattern, are connected with a plurality of input/output lines by a column select circuit, so that the plurality of memory cells may be caused to perform the writing operations simultaneously in a test mode by feeding an identical write signal to the plurality of input/output lines. In the test mode, moreover, the input write data are processed so that the physical information levels of adjoining memory cells to be simultaneously written in the plurality of memory cells may be coincident.Since the information levels of the adjoining bits can be made physically identical or different by combining the address selection and the write data, it is possible to shorten the testing time.

    摘要: A plurality of electric data signals representing parallel data bits are applied to a plurality of gates or control terminals on-off controlling optical switches, respectively. A single pulsed synchronizing signal is distributed to input terminals of the plurality of gates or the optical switches. Synchronizing signals, which have passed through gates or optical switches, which are in an ON state, among the plurality of gates or the optical switches are coupled to synchronize finally an optical signal. In this way a serial optical pulsed output signal can be obtained by utilizing optical delay in a process for distributing the synchronizing signals or a process for coupling the synchronizing signals.

    摘要: A direct-injection diesel engine comprising a cylinder block having a cylinder in which a piston is slidably received, a cylinder head connected to an upper surface of the cylinder block, a fuel injector nozzle mounted on the cylinder head to directly inject fuel into a combustion chamber defined between the piston and the cylinder head, and first and second independent intake ports provided in the cylinder head for introducing intake gas into the combustion chamber. An intake controller is mounted in the second intake port for bringing the second intake port into a controlled intake gas flow state in a region of low speed operation of the engine and into a normal state in a region of high speed operation of the engine. Each of the first and second intake ports are formed helically in the same direction to produce swirls in the same direction in intake gases introduced respectively through the intake ports into the combustion chamber.

    摘要: An apparatus, a process and a processing sheet for improving qualities of an image in sharpness, density and/or glossiness. A copy or printed sheet having an image is coated with a thin sheet at the image bearing side of the copy. The copy is then pressed together with the thin sheet, and simultaneously heated so as to soften or fuse at least the surface of the image on the copy. Then, the sheet is peeled off the image after the image is cooled sufficiently. Surprisingly, the qualities of the image are improved as compared with the image before processing.
