    摘要: The present invention is a method to quantitate proteins associated with a disease or disease state comprising the steps of isolating at least two target proteins from a test sample, combining the target proteins with a known concentration of a concatenated oligopeptide standard and a proteinase to form peptide fragments and standard peptide fragments. The concatenated oligopeptide standard comprising at least one peptide having an amino acid sequence substantially similar to a unique amino acid sequence of a peptide fragment of the two target proteins. The peptides for each of the target proteins are joined by proteinase cleavage sites to form the concatenated oligopeptide. Quantitation of the target proteins is determined by comparison of the peptide fragments to the standard peptide fragments using mass spectroscopy.

    摘要: Fast and highly accurate mass spectrometry-based processes for detecting particular nucleic acid molecules and sequences in the molecules are provided. Depending upon the sequence to be detected, the processes, for example, can be used to diagnose a genetic disease or a chromosomal abnormality, a predisposition to a disease or condition, or infection by a pathogen, or for determining identity or heredity. One aspect provides a process for determining whether a target nucleotide is present in a nucleic acid molecule including hybridizing a nucleic acid molecule with a primer oligonucleotide; contacting the hybridized primer with deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates, chain terminating nucleotides and a DNA polymerase, whereby the hybridized primer is extended until a chain terminating nucleotide is incorporated, producing an extended primer, and determining the molecular mass of the extended primer, thereby determining whether the target nucleotide is present in a nucleic acid molecule.

This specific binder is prepared from a mixture of a polyester resin A, at least one monomeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate, and at least one polyisocyanate B, where the proportion of monomeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) is ≦2% by weight of the overall composition. Such adhesion promoter compositions are particularly suitable for new generation automotive paint systems and are very desirable from an ecological and toxicological point of view owing to their low content of MDI.
