    摘要: A vehicle control system includes: an acceleration acquisition unit that detects or estimates an acceleration of a vehicle; and a control unit that is configured to change a running characteristic, which includes at least any one of a driving force characteristic, shift characteristic, steering characteristic and suspension characteristic of the vehicle, on the basis of the acceleration, wherein the control unit is configured to relatively delay a change of the running characteristic for decreasing quickness of behavior of the vehicle with respect to a change of the running characteristic for increasing quickness of behavior of the vehicle, and is configured to limit a change of the running characteristic when a jerk, which is a time differential value of the acceleration, is larger than a limit determination threshold as compared with when the jerk is smaller than or equal to the limit determination threshold.

    摘要: A control system for an internal combustion engine including a direct cylinder fuel injection valve for directly injecting the fuel into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The main fuel that burns in the cylinder is injected in the latter half of the compression stroke of the cylinder, and the secondary fuel which is the ineffective fuel that does not burn in the cylinder is injected in the latter half of the exhaust stroke main fuel and the secondary fuel air-fuel ratio mixture around the spark plug. When the secondary fuel is injected, the exhaust valve is opening, and the fuel that is deflected is all discharged out of the cylinder through the exhaust port. Therefore, the ineffective fuel supplied by the secondary fuel injection does not remain in the cylinder, and the output torque does not change in the combustion of the next cycle.

    摘要: A guideway transit system which can reduce a scale of an infrastructure while maintaining ride comfort for passengers of a vehicle is provided. The guideway transit system includes a noncontact vehicle guiding system and a contact vehicle guiding system. The noncontact vehicle guiding system detects information relating to a lateral position of a vehicle on a road and steers the vehicle to move along a predetermined path on the road based on the detected information. The contact vehicle guiding system which restricts a lateral position of the vehicle by a contact between a guide wheel which laterally projects from the vehicle and a guide wall provided on a side of the road. The guideway transit system further includes a controller which prohibits steering of the vehicle by the noncontact vehicle guiding system when a lateral position of the vehicle is restricted by the contact vehicle guiding system. An automated vehicle which is used in the guideway transit system is also provided.

    摘要: A two-stroke engine having an intake valve and an exhaust valve which are arranged on the cylinder head. A masking wall is formed on the inner wall of the cylinder head to mask the valve opening between the valve seat and the peripheral portion of the intake valve, which is located on the exhaust valve side, for the entire time for which the intake valve is open. Due to the masking wall, fresh air fed into the cylinder is turned around a central axis perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder. A fuel injector is arranged on the inner wall of the cylinder on the central axis to inject fuel therefrom along the central axis.

    摘要: An apparatus for measuring a flow rate of gas comprises a gas passage through which the gas to be measured flows in an axial direction thereof, a movable member linearly movable being disposed in the gas passage in a gas flow direction, a flow pipe providing therein the gas passage, a cross-sectional area of the flow pipe being increased along the gas flow direction in at least over a moving range of the movable member, a rod secured to the movable member to extend from the movable member along the gas flow direction, a bearing for bearing the rod for movement in response to moving of the movable member, the bearing being disposed in the gas passage and secured to the flow pipe, a helical spring for urging the movable member towards a direction opposite to the gas flow direction, a potentiometer for converting an amount of displacement of the rod into an electric signal, an amount of the displacement of the rod corresponding to that of movement of the movable member, a first cylinder closed at one end thereof by the movable member and opened at the other end thereof, the first cylinder extending along the gas flow direction, and a second cylinder disposed in the gas passage and secured to the flow pipe, the second cylinder being closed at one end thereof and opened at the other end thereof, the second cylinder being engaged at the other end thereof with the other end of the first cylinder through a minute clearance therebetween.
