    摘要: An illumination device including a base, a heat dissipation member, at least one flexible printed circuit board (FPC), and a plurality of light-emitting elements is provided. The heat dissipation member disposed on the base has a central axis, a plurality of holding curvy surfaces and a plurality of heat dissipation channels extending along the central axis, wherein the holding curvy surfaces and the heat dissipation channels are staggered and arranged about the central axis, and each of the holding curvy surfaces radially extends along the central axis. The flexible printed circuit board is disposed on the holding curvy surfaces. The light-emitting elements are disposed on the flexible printed circuit board. An assembling method of the illumination device is also provided.

    摘要: An apparatus for replacing a diseased cardiac valve is movable from a radially collapsed configuration to a radially expanded configuration. The apparatus comprises an expandable support member and a prosthetic valve secured therein. The main body portion extends between first and second end portions and includes an outer circumferential surface, a circumferential axis extending about the circumferential surface, and a plurality of wing members spaced apart from one another by an expandable region. Each of the wing members includes first and second end portions and a flexible middle portion extending between the end portions. The second end portion is integrally formed with the main body portion. The first end portion is adjacent the circumferential axis and substantially flush with the outer circumferential surface in the radially collapsed configuration. The first end portion extends substantially radial to the outer circumferential surface in the radially expanded configuration.

    摘要: An apparatus for repairing a cardiac valve includes an annuloplasty ring having an expandable support member with oppositely disposed proximal and distal end portions and a main body portion between the end portions. The proximal end portion includes a plurality of wing members extending from the main body portion. Each of the wing members includes at least one hook member for embedding into a cardiac wall and a valve annulus to secure the annuloplasty ring therein. The apparatus also includes an energy delivery mechanism for selectively contracting the annuloplasty ring to restrict the valve annulus and correct valvular insufficiency. The energy delivery mechanism includes a detachable electrical lead having distal and proximal end portions. The distal end portion has a securing member for operably attaching the distal end portion to a portion of the expandable support member. The proximal end portion is operably connected to an energy delivery source.

    摘要: A light emitting diode (LED) structure, a LED packaging structure, and a method of forming LED structure are disclosed. The LED structure includes a sub-mount, a stacked structure, an electrode, an isolation layer and a conductive thin film layer. The sub-mount has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The stacked structure has a first semiconductor layer, an active layer and a second semiconductor layer that are laminated on the first surface. The electrode is disposed apart from the stacked structure on the first surface. The isolation layer is disposed on the first surface to surround the stacked structure as well as cover the lateral sides of the active layer. The conductive thin film layer connects the electrode to the stacked structure and covers the stacked structure.

The proximal end portion includes a plurality of wing members extending from the main body portion.
