An optical pointing module having a lighting function according to an aspect of the invention may include: a laser light source mounted on a printed circuit board; an outer housing through which laser light, emitted from the laser light source, passes, the outer housing having an outside part formed of a transparent material; and a lighting unit mounted inside the outer housing and supplying light to the outside part.
Abstract:
An electron emission display and method of fabricating a mesh electrode structure for the same. The electron emission display includes: an electron emission substrate having an electron emission region; a mesh electrode structure including a mesh electrode having an opening, through which electrons emitted from the electron emission region can pass, and a mesh electrode insulating layer formed at one side of the mesh electrode using a direct printing method; and an image forming substrate having an image forming region for emitting light by the emitted electrons. The method improves voltage resistance characteristics between the gate or cathode electrode and the mesh electrode, and eliminates the need for a lower spacer.
Abstract:
A method of depositing a thin film using a hafnium compound includes depositing a primary thin film and depositing a secondary thin film. The depositing of the primary thin film and the depositing of the secondary thin film are repeated once or more. The depositing of the primary thin film includes feeding a first reactive gas, purging the first reactive gas, feeding a third reactive gas, and purging the third reactive gas, and repeating the aforementioned steps a first plurality of (N) times. The feeding of the first reactive gas includes feeding a second reactive gas, purging the second reactive gas, feeding the third reactive gas, and purging the third reactive gas, and repeating the aforementioned steps a second plurality of (M) times.
Abstract:
A DC reactor consisting of a coil formed of a superconducting material is provided. It is possible to reduce leakage reactance and to increase critical current by using a coil formed of a high temperature superconducting material and forming a first bobbin of the DC reactor as a toroid shape.
Abstract:
Provided herein is a tissue stretching device including a tissue clamping member defining an area in a Z plane, wherein the tissue clamping member is configured to hold tissue parallel to the Z plane. Methods of use of the tissue stretching device to stretch a tissue as well as for culturing organized tissues are also provided. Stretched and/or cultured tissues produced by these processes are also provided, as well as methods of treatment making use of the same.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a branched nanowire having parasitic nanowires grown at a surface of the branched nanowire, and a method for fabricating the same. The branched nanowire may be fabricated in a fractal form and seeds of the parasitic nanowires may be formed by thermal energy irradiation and/or a wet-etching process. The branched nanowire may effectively be used in a wide variety of applications such as, for example, sensors, photodetectors, light emitting elements, light receiving elements, and the like.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a recombinant adenovirus comprising a polynucleotide, which encodes a trans-splicing ribozyme-HSVtk composite relating to a cancer-specific gene, and a cancer-treating gene; a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer, containing the recombinant adenovirus as an active ingredient; and a method for treating cancer, comprising the step of administering the recombinant adenovirus or the pharmaceutical composition to an individual requiring treatment. The recombinant adenovirus of the present invention shows selectivity for a cancer cell by a trans-splicing ribozyme relating to a cancer-specific gene and an increased anticancer activity by a cancer-treating gene, and thus can be widely used for the effective prevention and treatment of cancer.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to methods of producing artificial composite tissue constructs that permit coordinated motion. Biocompatable structural matrices having sufficient rigidity to provide structural support for cartilage-forming cells and bone-forming cells are used. Biocompatable flexible matrices seeded with muscle cells are joined to the structural matrices to produce artificial composite tissue constructs that are capable of coordinated motion.
