摘要: A sub air chamber provided around outer circumferential surface of a well of a rim of a vehicle wheel includes an upper plate and a lower plate connected at edges thereof which are fitted into channels in first and second vertical wall surfaces formed on the rim. At least one of the upper plate and the bottom plate has orthogonally and diagonally aligned beads to vertical walls, extending in a circumferential direction of the wheel, supporting the sub air chamber, connecting parts locally connecting the upper plate and the bottom plate. The sub air chamber has a protruding part for communicating the sub air chamber with the tire air chamber and serves as a stopper of the sub air chamber.

摘要: A planar waveguide laser device forms a waveguide by a plate-like laser medium having birefringence and clad attached to at least one of the surfaces of the laser medium perpendicular to its thickness direction, amplifies laser light by a gain produced by excitation light incident on the laser medium, and performs laser oscillation. The laser medium is formed of a material having an optic axis on a cross section perpendicular to the light axis, which is the laser travelling direction. The clad is formed of a material having a refractive index in a range between refractive indexes of two polarized lights that travel along the light axis in the laser medium and have oscillation surfaces that are orthogonal to each other. The planar waveguide laser device readily oscillates linearly polarized laser light.

摘要: According to this invention, an instrument and a method for nucleic acid isolation is realized, whereby it is possible to prevent, for example, adherence of a discharged solution upon dispersion of such solution to the vicinity of a nucleic acid isolation column outlet.A light source unit and a light-receiving unit that receives totally reflected light of the photosensor 41 for detecting the fluid level are placed on a site on the side surface of the nucleic acid isolation column 35, where the photosensor can detect the fluid level corresponding to a remaining liquid volume of approximately 10 ul. In addition, the light source unit of the photosensor 41 is positioned in a manner such that incident light is totally reflected from the interface between the nucleic acid isolation column 35 and air in the nucleic acid isolation column 35 and light is allowed to be incident in the solution when reaching the interface between the nucleic acid isolation column 35 and the solution in the nucleic acid isolation column 35. The light-receiving unit of the photosensor 41 is positioned in a manner such that it receives the totally reflected light and is fixed on the upper part of the nucleic-acid-adsorptive solid phase 24. The fluid level detection sensor is in communication with a syringe-driving motor 34 via a control unit 40 such that a syringe 31 is driven upward when the fluid level reaches a predetermined level, provided that a certain volume of the liquid remains in the nucleic acid isolation column 35. Accordingly, dispersion of the dispersed liquid is prevented.

摘要: A difficulty has been given, that is, in a condition that an electrostatic chuck having an oxide layer as a dielectric layer is set in catalytic chemical vapor deposition apparatus, as a silicon thin film is repeatedly deposited on a workpiece held by the electrostatic chuck, adsorbing power of the electrostatic chuck is gradually decreased, and finally the chuck does not adsorb a substrate at all. Thus, a dielectric layer on a surface of the electrostatic chuck is covered with an insulating film containing silicon nitride or silicon oxide. Thus, since damage to a chuck surface can be prevented, the damage being due to hydrogen radicals generated during depositing the silicon film by the catalytic chemical vapor deposition apparatus, even if the silicon film is repeatedly deposited, power for adsorbing the substrate is not decreased, and consequently substrate temperature is stabilized during depositing the silicon film.

摘要: A manufacturing method permits easy manufacture of an organic electronic device using an extremely thin substrate. The manufacturing method includes a first step for polishing a first surface of a substrate, a second step for providing a protective polymeric layer on the first surface, a third step for etching a second surface on the back side of the first surface of the substrate to make the substrate thinner, a fourth step for providing a polymeric layer that contains a polymeric material on the etched second surface, a fifth step for removing the protective polymeric layer, and a sixth step for forming an organic electronic device on the first surface from which the protective polymeric layer has been removed.

摘要: A solid-state laser rod pumping module has a stack-type semiconductor laser including a plurality of bar-shaped components that are stacked in a direction parallel to the axis of a solid-state laser rod. Each bar-shaped component includes a plurality of laser-light-emitting portions that are aligned and integrated in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the solid-state laser rod. The large divergence angle of the stack-type semiconductor can be compensated by including a light focusing component for focusing laser light emitted out of the stack-type semiconductor laser. The focused light is guided by a laser light guiding component disposed in a diffusive reflection tube. A light guiding component guides the focused light onto a solid-state laser rod located within the diffusive reflective tube, while maintaining the length of one side of the cross section of the guided light.
