    摘要: A polarizing plate with which, not only suppression in a drop in polarization efficiency, but also with which hue shift and light leakage do not substantially occur, under a high humidity/high temperature environment is provided. The polarizing plate of the present invention includes a polyvinyl-alcohol-based polarizing film, a protective film mainly composed of a cyclic-olefin-based resin and laminated on at least one side of the polarizing film, and an anchor coat agent film and an adhesive layer interposed between the polarizing film and the protective film. The amount of change in optical in-plane retardation of the protective film is 5 nm or less, after 24 hours in an atmosphere of 80° C., and the wetting tension of the laminated surface is 500 μN/cm (23° C.) or more. The anchor coat agent is made of polyester polyol and polyisocyanate, and the adhesive layer is made of polyvinyl-alcohol-based adhesive.

    摘要: A novel L-sorbose dehydrogenase (SDH) and a novel L-sorbosone dehydrogenase both derived from Gluconobacter oxydans T-100, a DNA which encodes the SDH and/or SNDH, an expression vector which contains the DNA, a host cell transformed by the expression vector and a process for producing the SDH and/or SNDH, which comprises culturing the host cell in a medium and recovering the SDH and/or SNDH from the resulting culture. The SDH and SNDH of the present invention are useful enzymes having preferable properties for the production of 2-keto-L-gulonic acid, as well as L-ascorbic acid. According to the production method of the present invention, the SDH and SNDH having such preferable properties can be produced in large amounts by genetic engineering.

    摘要: A loopback test starting system is provided for starting a loopback test. The loopback test starting system includes a first loopback controller which detects a first loopback control signal from a digital data services network side and generates a first loopback starting signal. In addition, a second loopback controller is provided which detects a second loopback control signal from a subscriber side and generates a second loopback starting signal in response. The loopback test starting system also includes a first loopback forming device which forms a first loop from the digital data services network side through the subscriber side and back to the digital data services network side, and a second loopback forming device which forms a second loop from the subscriber's side through the digital data services side and back to the subscriber side. Further, the loopback testing starting system includes first and second loopback detection and resetting devices for resetting and stopping the detection operations of the first and second loopback controllers. Based on this above configuration, the loopback test starting system is able to avoid a loopback closed circuit with out prohibiting a loopback test from the subscriber's side, thus improving the quality of the maintenance control of the entire network.

    摘要: A method of separating a protein by gel electrophoresis, which comprises a staining step for bringing a protein-containing sample into contact with a staining liquid containing a staining agent, a surfactant and a buffer solution, and an electrophoresis step for subjecting the protein-containing sample after the staining step to gel electrophoresis.According to the present invention, using a staining liquid containing a surfactant such as SDS and the like, a protein-containing sample can be stained in a short time, and can develop color with high sensitivity. In addition, since an excess staining agent migrates earlier than protein by electrophoresis, a washing operation is not necessary. Furthermore, by staining, after the first dimension electrophoresis, with a staining liquid containing a surfactant such as SDS and the like, the second dimension electrophoresis can be performed immediately. As a result, the number of steps can be reduced as compared to conventional protein separation methods, and the separation operation can be simplified.
