    摘要: A developing apparatus for use in an electrophotographic copying machine or the like, which includes a magnet roller having in it, a main pole magnet, with one of its poles directed outwardly and interpole magnets, with their poles opposite in polarity to the one of the poles of the main pole magnet being directed outwardly so as to attract a developing material composed of toner and carrier onto the surface of the magnet roller through magnetic induction of the main pole magnet and interpole magnets, and a doctor blade for restricting the amount of attraction of the developing material onto the surface of the magnet roller. The doctor blade has a magnet member provided in it, with its pole having the same polarity as that of the outer side pole of the main pole magnet being adapted to confront the magnet roller.

    摘要: A device for measuring tooth surface deviation includes a contact detector that measures the deviation at the tooth surface of a dresser with respect to a grinding tooth surface formed on a helical grinding tooth of a grinding tool when the grinding tool and a dresser toothed wheel are rotated synchronously in a state in which the grinding tooth surface and the dresser tooth surface of the dresser toothed wheel can be brought into contact, and detects contact between the grinding tooth surface and the dresser tooth surface; and a controller that changes the speed of rotation of the dresser toothed wheel in such a way that the detection result of the contact detector comes within the range of contact determination data, and also measures the amount by which the grinding tool and the dresser toothed wheel have been changed in one revolution of the dresser toothed wheel.

The method for controlling a droplet discharge device includes selecting one of a plurality of predetermined microvibration control programs for causing the vibrating plate to undergo microvibration in accordance with information relating to the functional liquid, and controlling the drive elements to cause the vibrating plate to undergo microvibration when the droplet discharge head is in the standby period in accordance with the selected microvibration control program.

In the device, the temperature adjustment unit adjusts a temperature of the droplet in the measurement of the discharge amount by the discharge amount measurement unit to the temperature in the formation of the predetermined pattern.
