摘要: A rotor temperature control system for a centrifuge is provided. This system includes an ambient temperature sensor for detecting ambient temperature around the system, a temperature regulating device for regulating temperature of a rotor of the centrifuge according to an operation factor which is variable within a range of preselected maximum to minimum values, and an operation factor controller for controlling a value the operation factor of the temperature regulating device in a preselected relation to the ambient temperature and a given target rotor temperature to modify the temperature of the rotor to the target rotor temperature. With this arrangement, the temperature of the rotor is modified to a desired value quickly regardless of an initial temperature of the rotor.

摘要: Provided is a microchip having a liquid supply mechanism which can supply a solution in a micro flow path with a simple construction in which a drive source utilizing an osmotic pressure is arranged within the microchip and which controls the osmotic pressure by a control unit utilizing temperature or the like, whereby it is possible to effect drive control such as intermittent driving and continuous driving at a fixed velocity. The liquid supply mechanism using osmotic pressure includes an osmotic pump utilizing the osmotic pressure of a liquid filling chambers separated from each other by a semipermeable membrane, and a unit which varies the osmotic pressure by changing a condition of the solution in at least one of the chambers on the basis of a timing of a pumping operation.

摘要: A fan coupling device 1 connecting an internal combustion engine 31 to a cooling fan 21 comprises an input shaft 3 driven to rotate by the engine 31, a fluid coupling 12 that transmits torque from the input shaft 3 to the cooling fan 21 via a fluid, and a solenoid valve 13 having a valve main body 18 that adjusts a fluid amount in the fluid coupling 12. A determination as to whether or not the valve main body 18 is stuck in a lifted position on the basis of a rotation speed of the cooling fan 21, is started after the elapse of a predetermined time following output of a signal for returning the valve main body 18 to a closed position, The sticking determination can be performed with a high degree of precision without being affected by variation in the rotation speed of the input shaft 3.
