Abstract:
A device for applying electrical stimulation to a surface of the human body utilizes a calibrated, pre-arranged pattern of conducting, current emitting elements to distribute current throughout an entire surface at once, such as human face, without needing to alter the device to accommodate various are sizes, including varying face sizes.
Abstract:
A disposable device (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18) both for vaginal cleaning and hygiene and for sexual aid and its methods of use are disclosed. The device comprises a pouch or bladder (30 or 30′) with an open-end or opening (34 or 34′) and in substantial shape and size of the condom and a standard valve (20 or 20′) or closure (20″) with a base (22, 22′ or 22″). The pouch or bladder is made of a layer of flexible and inelastic airtight durable material. The opening is fluid-tightly sealed to the base or by the cap (24″) and neck of the closure. The inflated or filled device functions as dildos and, when enclosing a mini-vibrator, as vibrators. The poked device is used for delivering medication to appropriate areas of the vagina and for washing the vagina with water. The pouch or bladder is packed in a small sealed package before use and is disposable after use.
Abstract:
A device for percutaneous delivery of therapeutic agents includes a head, a wheel rotably mounted on the head, the wheel having an axis of rotation and an outer surface, a plurality of needles disposed upon the outer surface, each needle having a tip projecting away from the axis of rotation of the wheel, and a reservoir mounted on the body, the reservoir containing a fluid, the reservoir having an opening near to the wheel such that the fluid is disposed on the wheel through the opening.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hand-held device for electrically powered skin treatment, whereby current is passed into the skin from an external electric circuit via an electrode (20) so that active ingredients of a cream applied earlier to the skin can better penetrate into the skin.To aid this effect, a cap (9) of the device, which functions as an electrode (20), is provided with a vibrator (15) so that the electrode (20) vibrates on the skin, thus working the cream into the skin.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to portable facial treatment devices, and methods of using same. In some embodiments, the invention is directed to a muscle toning treatment device, comprising: (i) a polarity generator; (ii) a single active electrode assembly comprising a first electrode being adapted to apply electrical current to the area of the skin to be treated; (iii) at least one vibration modality, wherein the vibration modality provides a vibration frequency, of between 5-6 MHz or between 30-35 Hz; (iv) at least one heating modality for heating the skin of the user, wherein the temperature of the heating modality is between 34 and 45 degrees Celsius; and (v) a counter electrode assembly comprising second electrode being adapted to be in continuous contact to a second location of the skin of the user.
Abstract:
A device (1) for the medical care of a patient in an emergency which comprises an item of clothing (2) which may be worn by the patient on the body and monitoring devices (8, 9) arranged on the item of clothing (2), which may monitor at least one physiological function of the patient, in order to detect an emergency. The device further comprises a cardiac compression device (3, 4) arranged on the item of clothing (2), which is operatively connected to the monitoring device (8, 9), in order to treat the patient with a cardiac resuscitation when the monitoring device (3, 4) determines an emergency, and a defibrillator (5, 6, 7) as well as the intraosseous delivery of drugs into the bone marrow cavity of the breast bone. Moreover, a device (1) for the medical care of a patient in an emergency, which comprises as a therapeutic device a respiratory therapeutic device (10, 11, 12, 13) which is able to supply oxygen and/or a drug for pulmonary resuscitation into the respiratory system of the patient.
Abstract:
A dermatological skin treatment device is provided. The device comprises a handpiece and a cutting tool, wherein the tool is inserted through the conduit and percutaneously inserted into a tissue disposed within a recessed area of the handpiece. The device and method cut the fibrous structures under the skin that cause cellulite at an angle substantially parallel to the surface of the skin and replace these structures with a non-cellulite forming structure by deploying a highly fibrous mesh through a single needle hole to create a highly fibrous layer directly or through wound healing processes.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic therapy apparatus includes: upper magnetic heads mounted on a frame; lower magnetic heads mounted in a treatment bed, wherein each of the lower magnetic heads is connected to a rotary power supplier and is driven to rotate individually thereby, the lower magnetic heads drive the upper magnetic heads to rotate by magnetic force coupling; therapy clothes provided on a treatment bed and connected to a physiotherapy liquid collection tank through a circulation pump; self-heating tourmaline slices or metal clamps mounted in the therapy clothes; and a high-frequency heating induction coil mounted in the treatment bed and connected to a high-frequency power supplier. Auxiliary physiotherapy liquid includes: basic liquid; and a traditional Chinese medicine additive. By applying a magnetic principle of Western medicine on human bodies, anti-cancer and blood-thinning effects can be achieved. With high-speed metabolism, utilizing the traditional Chinese medicine can accelerate a recovery process.
Abstract:
A dual-ended applicator is provided. The applicator includes a handle, a first roller having a broad concave surface at one end of the handle, and a second, ball-like roller having a convex surface, at the opposite end of the handle. The first roller, having a greater axial length and surface area than does the second roller is intended for applying a cosmetic to broader convex areas of the skin. The second roller, having a lesser axial dimension and surface area as compared with the first roller is intended for distributing a cosmetic to the narrower, concave areas of the skin. The first roller is mounted on the applicator so as to rotate about a fixed axis lateral to the longitudinal axis of the applicator, and will move in straight paths along the skin, in line with the longitudinal axis of the applicator. The second, ball-like roller is mounted on the applicator so as to travel along both straight and curved paths, automatically adjusting between positions as the applicator is moved along the skin surface.
